Loss of power with P0157 P0151

In the middle of the drive the car had loss power and misfiring. Took it home and ran a code check of P1426, P0157, p0227 with bank 1-10 blinking. After much research it sounded like a fuel pump issue. Bought a used working one, replaced and installed on bank 6-10 LHD and reset codes. Turned on ignition, and the Gallardo was very weak but it did turn on. The misfiring is gone but there is still significant loss of power. Let it idle and check engine light eventually came on, this time code P0157, and P0151 bank 6-10. Checked fuses for fuel pump 1-10 and all are fine. Swapped them around and no difference. I’m not sure what else to look for. I did smell gas while idling. I searched on here and can’t seem to get a clear answer. Do I need to replace the other fuel pump? Is it oxygen sensors? Any help would be appreciate, thanks!

These are catalyst over-temp and O2 locked lean:

P1426: Catalyst temp sensor signal
P0151: Bank 2 Front Oxygen sensor locked lean
P0157: Bank 2 Rear Oxygen sensor locked lean
P0227: Throttle position signal < 0deg (probably an old unrelated code)

"I did smell gas while idling" -> has fuel, but the car can't tell.

I bet you are running stock cats, and I bet your header->cat gaskets are dead, causing air to get in before the O2 sensors, causing them to read false lean, causing fuel to dump through your engine into your cats, causing them to get extremely hot.

I literally just made a vid that shows all of this this week:

TL;DR: replace the cats/gaskets.

It’ll run on one bank of cylinders with the exception of very low response or power. Have you pulled a coil on either bank to listen for a change in engine tone while running? Sounds like you’ve got an entire bank down. I’d make sure when you KOEO you have power to both pumps with a test light or DMM. You should also be able to simply put your hand on the pump hat and feel the pump during key on. If both pumps are working and find a dead bank, pull a coil from the dead bank and put a spare plug in to place to visually check for spark while cranking.

Funny enough, I just got a P1426 and P0437 (Bank 2 O2 low input) this afternoon.

I cleared and let the car idle, it started surging.

I unplugged bank 2 o2 sensor, and the idle immediately smoothed out. Going to swap that O2 sensor for a spare one I have, and report back, but looks like there's a good chance this sensor is dead.

Worth trying on yours as well.

I've slept on this and am now thinking you should double-check you have fuel flow at the rail. You can do this by pulling the regulator on that bank, putting a lot of rags around it, then tuning ignition on/cranking for a short period.

If everything is good you will have a bunch of fuel going everywhere.

I once had a similar issue after replacing my fuel pump, and it was because I didn't click the plug fully in.

Another time one bank didn't run and the solution was to spray contact cleaner into the engine harness plug.

This shineyboi here. Yours may not be shiny, mine are new.

There is a clip that holds them in. They usually pull out from the top, I flipped mine because it makes it easier to remove. Once the clip is out, twist it back and forth while pulling on it. There should be some fuel in behind it.

If the pump is working, and you have no reg, a LOT of fuel will come out of here, so only test for like 1 second max. Have a lot of rags handy.
