I just moved the rest of my funds into the tech index
If you kept it there for the last two years, you are indeed a genius.

So the recession came, under some interesting circumstances (as they always do). Let's hear some market and sector predictions for 2021, if you dare!

I lightened up on tech moving into small value, betting on recovery, and added financials. Good luck to all in 2021!

Wise move. I have been overweight Tech ( AAPL,MSFT and FB ) and Financials ( JPM,BAC ) for years ! The Dims will hand out $$$ hand over fist. It will help in the short term. In the Long run, it will be a Disaster. It will not affect our Generation and most Members on here. I feel sorry for the next 2 Generations :(

Got stopped out of FB @ $251.Still an ez 5 Bagger. Zuck can __ my effin ____:mad:

The recession never came and I can’t it this year either.

It is not too late IMO
I'm in on the crypto bet. It'll be exciting no matter what happens. Not a huge position (yet) $60k split 50% in GBTC and the remainder between UNI, MANA, ATOM and XLM.

I'm historically not early to the parties, but not late either. Likely adding on dips till I'm in at $100k, then taking principal out at $250, or holding until it's just a great story when I've had too much to drink.

I do think technically/literally the recession did come and go in 2020, sure was an unbelievable year from an investment opportunity perspective. Biggest concern I have is all the high school kids talking about investing. So reminiscent of the internet bubble, but hopefully 2021 is more like 1998 than 2000.

I’m waiting for the Coinbase IPO, could be some opportunity there.

Bump…. Will the real recession please stand up?

I think this will be it. The market is acting/reacting so weird. Personally sitting 50% cash, and sold some crypto, but still holing about 1% of net worth in it.

got out of tech a little early, so didn’tdo quite as well in 21 as 20, but I’m sleeping pretty well being conservative in this craziness. I think the markets are likely 60% through their downturn, so not buying anything yet.
Time and the market will show us all how ignorant we actually are. Good luck to all!

Now is the time to buy Crypto. Research ISO20022. The bank coins on this list are the only ones that have been approved and are the only ones I am invested in other than a few I'm just playing around with. Buy the dip, fill your bags..we are going for a bumpy ride.

I agree with regards to the weird reactions we've been seeing. I think it's a mixture of fear, but also fear which is paralyzing a lot of investors(speaking from experience). Volumes are still not that high at all.
Whatever it will be, I think changes in the fin landscape will be significant in the medium term and the ride there will be quite volatile.

Hope you didn’t jump on that one early!!!
Got rid of it way back then, however still holding a fair amount of crypto. As far as the recession, we might already be in one. It is a 50/50 call right now.

So let me get this straight, BTC and crypto's claim to fame was it was a great way to hedge inflation. Not only didn't Bitcoin hedge against inflation but it's value seems directly linked to the stock market. It's nothing but a typical risk asset so people should treat it that way instead of buying into this whole "buy the dip" nonsense.
