What do you believe?

Okay, time to stir up some trouble. LOL With Donald Trump starting an investigation as to the legitimacy of Obama's birth certificate, do you believe he's American or not, and if not what should be done?

Now keep it civil. :whip:

I'd vote for the DONALD if I could - just to prevent him from running anywhere else - plus the campaign could be over if his hair is actually real and/or American.
As to Obama - REALLY, I am shocked how the whole citizenship issue continues to live - do people really have nothing better to do - haha

Oh come on now this topic isn't that sensitive is it?

Hows this, impeachment and exile. No kidding. Of course that would do so much damage to this country it'll never happen. But his grandmother say's she saw the birth in Kenya.

As far as Donald is concerned, he fell of the map with me when he had that absurd childish tirade with Rossie O'Donnell a few years back. Not political material but interesting to listen to.

The issue continues to live on because there is so much secrecy and his actions regarding it, his transcripts, and so on, that there is more than enough reason to believe that what has been presented is fraudulent. Ray must have been listening to Rush yesterday?

I don't think this will surprise anyone here, but I don't believe that he was born here. Let's see what we have here:

1. Millions spent covering up any historical record of his origins.
2. ZERO published writing of a guy that was supposed to be the head of an Ivy league law review? Puhlease.
3. Ongoing court cases challenging his birth certificate (if they were frivolous they'd have been thrown out).
4. Kenyan's saying that they've witnessed the birth IN KENYA.
5. The mainstream media won't touch it (not even Fox, really), though consistent polling has shown that over a quarter of respondents (and that includes DEMS, Repubs, and Indies) do NOT believe he was born here, and over 60% believe that he should prove his eligibility, while only 9% believe he has done so.
6. Short form being proven a fraudulent document.
7. Democrat governor of Hawaii says that he's going to put all of this to rest, and produce the REAL cert, but, gee, can't seem to come up with it.

Regardless of whether or not he was born here, the question, technically, was, "Do you think he's an American?". Even then, no, I don't, because of how long he was brought up outside this country in Indonesia, etc. He considers HIMSELF to be a "citizen of the world", and though, yeah, we all are, it is obvious that he is putting OTHERS before his own. He is a NWO puppet, and nobody should be surprised. Of course, McCain was too, so the choices (thanks primary voters) were between a giant douche and a turd sandwich. Impeaching him wouldn't do a hell of a lot, because then you'd have idiot Biden in the top spot, and it'd still take a LONG time to just undo anything big Obummer has signed while in office. We can do that legislatively anyway.

You want to know a REAL Republican/Libertarian/Liberty Loving ticket that would win?

Ron Paul and Herman Cain.

Sorry, no TV hacks. No Trump, no Palin, no Huck, no no no no no. Altough they may be appealing, you will surely hand victory to Dems again. The ticket I suggested will get HUGE numbers of independent votes.

About the birth thing, all I know is that the presidenbt of the United States has incredible behind-the-scenes power, and coming up with an "authentic" birth certificate should be child's play. I mean, think about it: the resources he has at his disposal are virtually limitless. His minions can pay off anybody to do or say anything, even go to jail for him. As for Trump, I don't know if he'll run, but I do know that an increasing number of Americans are so fed up with the people in Washington -- both parties -- that hearing someone who says he'll do what so many of us wish would come true, gives him credibility. For my two cents, I'd like to see Newt as our next pres. Imagine him in a debate with the Annointed One. He'd eat his lunch and make him look like the naive socialist he is. The whole problem is pretty well defined: when a person gets to congress, the priveledge and power apparently are so intoxicating that, regardless of how idealistic they may be going in (the new crop of Tea Party Repubs), Potomic fever simply corrupts them to where getting re-elected becomes their raison d' etre and the hell with the country. They feel that whatever bad happens, it will happen after they're long gone from office., so why not play politics.

Quite right on all points. To the above, I typically like to listen to talk radio. But I ALWAYS switch off when the big names CONTNIUALLY divert people from voting 3rd party. On the R side, since that's what I pay the most attention to, Rush and Levin especially, fail to recognize the fact that an increasing number of people are registering as independents, and that there IS common ground between the 2 major established parties from a personal perspective. They say they are afraid of losing to the Democrats, but this is a DIVERSION. What they KNOW is that undeclared, unconstitutional wars would be halted if people voted 3rd party. For all the yammering that they do in relation to personal freedom, they are completely FOS and 2 faced when dealing with issues like the Patriot Act. VERY LITTLE spending, they say, is OK (which I agree with), but don't dare touch military spending. They accuse the other side of using fear tactics in saying that making changes to SS, Medicare, etc, will kill grandma, is reprehensible, yet they do the same and declare you as unpatriotic and unsupportive of our troops if you want to cut military spending. Truth is, I support them enough that I want them out of harms way, and that means, BRINGING THEM HOME, especially those pointlessly stationed on bases in Japan, Europe, et al. There is a REASON why there is so much military support for Ron Paul, even though he is the loudest Republican/Libertarian voice on cutting military expenditures. I have young men in my family who have been deployed to the mideast numerous times in recent years, and they are the most adamant that the reasons we are there are unjustifiable. I agree that with all the resources at hand, Obama should be able to produce a BC, even a really really good forged one. At the same time, I'd think with the trillions spent and thousands of US troop lives lost, we'd be able to produce Bin Laden, wouldn't most agree? Something is missing there that I dare not get into now. As a last quick point, at least they are being honest now about why we are over there (Rush especially), and it's oil. It's always been oil. The collusion between the 2 major parties has corrupted them into believing that the people will stand for one saying that we can't drill for oil in our own land due to environmental risk, while the other says that we need to invade foreign countries to "protect our interests", which is really control of oil. Man, I'm so frustrated this morning I could go on, but I'll spare everyone.

Sorry for the rant. Let's see where it goes.

What was "produced" will put the issue to bed for many, but there are others (myself included) that are still somewhat skeptical. I'm waiting for Corsi's book, and I know a couple of PDF experts that I'm thinking of having look into this file. There has already been A LOT of hubbub about shading, marking, layering, etc, that I am in no way qualified to know if it's legitimate or not, which is why I'm going to leave it up to experts. Please refer to my post (#8) which outlined other things unrelated to a BC, forged or not.

My initial questions are:
1. Why was it photocopied/scanned from a book, onto the "official looking" paper, but then, apparently, scanned again and converted into an Adobe file?
2. Why would this constitute a legitimate document being un-notarized, and un-stamped by the state?
3. Why would there not be a "bend" of the text in "Male" when there is a bend in the page?
4. Awful lot of similarities in the handwriting given that they are presumably different persons.

I know why it took 2 and a half years, because he WANTED it to be an issue to distract people from his Marxism and Alinsky tactics.

But my friend, it's worse than Watergate, unconstitutional, and an impeachable offense. We OUGHT to be holding this office to a higher standard. It is my opinion that we are in sh!t so deep due to the fact that people want to just "move on". Sweeping problems under rugs does not mean they are gone. The more you sweep under there, the bigger the rug mountain becomes until it finally falls over. We are juuuuust about there.

I don't think we need to haggle, I think we need to unite against an open faced lying tyrant.
