Sypder or couple LP560

Hi all, I’m looking at getting my first lambo, currently aged 29 and always dreamed of having a gallardo, after being put off with all the stories of the 5.0 I am looking at getting a LP560-4, my first perfect picture would of been a Coupé manual, turns out I do not have the funds even if I could get one 😂.
I am curious though, I’m terms of resale in the future, is a coupe or a spyder a more desirable car, I am not put off by a spyder and after looking at one in the flesh yesterday at a dealership, I do like the sypder…. But not as much as the Coupé, at some point I will need to sell the car when houses come down so I can continue to invest my money in other avenues. Reading online it’s mainly preference but spyders seem to hold more value?

can anyone shed some light on this and anyone who sells them let me know if sypders are financially more desirable than a coupe when it comes to resale.
Any stories of ownership would be great. I own a Vw audi group specialist and we specialise in Vag group tuning so a LP560 seems to be the perfect option as I know the R8’s very well.

Thanks in advance

UK BASED!

If your buying for resale. Forget about it. From the way you write your post it appears to me your viewing this as an investment.
At this point all signs are pointing to a market correction in the auto industry. Wholesale numbers are down, vehicles are sitting in inventory longer, even BAT are showing lower numbers as of late.
I think u get what you want and drive it. If you make some $$ at the end take it as a win, but I certainly wouldn't gamble on it.
It’s not as an investment, I’m happy to loose money on the car if it happens, when it comes to selling though I will want to sell it fairly sharpish 1/3 months to get a buyer is what I would hope for. I know the experience will be great either way for me, I am just curious which market is selling better, sypder or Coupé, to me the experience will be the same except getting wet with the roof down in the Uk, the coupe looks more like a super car in my opinion but if it means being tied into the car for 6 months when I want to get some money back out of it, il get a spyder 😊

The one I’m looking at is a late model,20k miles, brand pack, leather pack, heated seats, reverse cam, front lift, yellow, codellias. The spec draws me in a lot over some of the others on the market and my opinion the wheels are the nicest set 👌🏻

Thanks all!
Road tested a sypder today from the dealership, very impressed with the car for a old gem, e gear was smooth and wasn’t slow to change like I was expecting an old car too, dropped the window and listened to the v10 roar through the Rev range, drivers seat was a lovely place to be. I 100% will be buying a gallardo, I’m just torn between Coupé or spyder, in my heart I like the Coupé, I think it looks nicer personally and looks more like a super car, but the position I’m in currently, will I find the right Coupé before time is up, taking the spyder would give me a longer experience as a lambo owner which is what it’s all about, I just feel deep down I will always want the Coupé but could be waiting 6 months for one to pop up 😭.
Thankyou all for your input so far!

I know one thing….. the Cordelia wheels are a must 😍😍😍
