Sad news. I knew Robert and had no idea he was suffering from cancer. I bought one of his Gallardo's. My condolences to his family and girlfriend.

R.I.P I am curious on the form of cancer it was.... he was smart, young and had the resources for medical attention and test. Never was a fan but he's a fellow man.
I saw that it was stomach cancer. Nasty stuff, hopefully no one here has to fight it. Unfortunately all the money and power can't buy more time. Wish it could.

If it was from the stomach and presuming it didn't spread elsewhere already he would have the option to remove his stomach entirely. Still not pretty, but if that was the case that would have saved his life. Liver on the other hand, a completely different story.

Ive known several people who all suffered from stomach cancers, unfortunately all of them died shortly after being diagnosed (one went into hospital on the Friday night, never made it to Monday) mainly due to its symptoms going mis-diagnosed or ignored as simple things like indigestion, so by the time it is known, its generally very advanced.

Sad news.
