I for one, don't mind disappointing people with my regular door. Except kids, they get really disappointed...

Ha! This is the truth. I was at a car show last summer when 3 boys in that 10 - 12 year old range came up to the car with jaws dropping. This was the first Lamborghini they had ever seen (I live in rural northern Minnesota) and they wanted me to open the doors for them. I had to explain to them that this cars doesn't have the scissors doors and as I did you could see the disappointment in their faces. I wanted to climb into my shoe. My brother (Viper owner) was parked next to me at the show. He was quick to jump in and say that the scissors doors were reserved for the "real" Lambo's. He always has my back like that.

I've said this before and I'll say it again!

There are kits for Gallardos to have scissor doors and they DO look amazing!

They're call Murcielago and Aventador!

All jokes aside, wanting scissor doors was one huge reason I did not order a Huracan and took the plunge to spend $300K more! Man...scissor door kit is one expensive kit!!

And that's exactly why no V-10 car will ever have them. It would kill the sales of Aventadors if the Huracan had vertical doors. It's a big part of how most people perceive how a Lambo should be. When I came to Lamborghini forums I was looking for vertical doors but after much reading and learning I bought a Gallardo.
