What ever did happen to lambo Power? it use to be really good in the begging way back from 2011 til 20 then poof, it died

.
They were their own worst enemy the way they treated those (with Lamborghinis) outside their inner circle. The demise was well deserved.

Just over one year ago I bought a 2022 STO and I have just traded it in on a 2014 Aventador Roadster.

The STO was a great car but it just didn’t feel safe, the back end did not feel planted especially at slower speeds. I also hated how hard the suspension was when you hit a bump in the road. My last complaint is that the doors don’t go up lol.

I have always missed my old Aventador SV Roadster so the hunt was on to find another Roadster. I have been watching the market for a long time and the right one popped up and I jumped on it.

My STO had 9,500km and the A-R has 10,100km. The STO needs new rear tires and I ended up doing a straight trade. I did splurge and buy the aftermarket wheels that you see in the pictures as I think they really suit the car.

I don’t usually buy muted color cars but the color combo of Grigio Estoque Metallic and the full orange interior did it for me. It had a great option list that I really liked:
Congrats on the purchase...question for you, assume from your writeup you wanted to move to a cruising type experience. How do you compare/contrast that with the Diablo Roadster you own? I have thought about an Aventador Roadster from time to time but always thought what I wanted from it the Diablo already provides.

Diablo roadster and STO are not comparable at all, they literally are two completely different cars. The Diablo is Lamborghini, which makes the STO not a Lamborghini in comparison lol.

If you compare the Diablo and Aventador then that’s a different story. The Diablo is RAW and also a stick, it’s a true wedge shape design. Driving the A you instantly feel how Audi has refined the car over two decades, the A can be driven daily. The D cockpit has way more room and feels like your sitting on the ground, forward vision is unreal, the A has a way thicker A pillar and windshield header, also the rake of the windshield makes it feel like your looking out of a mail slot in comparison. Very different sounds between the two. Diablo is deeper and full compared to the higher pitch A. Usability of the tops are about the same but you still have a frunk when the D roof is off so that’s a bonus. Overall as you would expect the Aventador is a better daily driving Supercar. It does not match the raw driving experience of the Diablo and that’s what makes them so unique. Two flagship cars that are worlds different from each other but both will put smiles on your face!

I got a great deal on the STO a year ago and thought a straight trade was totally worth it. If the Aventador goes up in value then that’s great, I plan on putting lots of miles on it!

I should also say that my STO was sold in one day. I heard the new owner is in Toronto!

Aventador's in Canada have come down from the peak. During the peak, the LP700 roadsters were listed and selling for mid $500k's, now they're down to mid $400's. Coupes are in the mid $300's, 2012 coupes below $300k. I know the yellow coupe listed in Alberta ran through auction last month and the highest it got to was just below $350k.
It's still a fairly expensive car to buy and run.

In the US a LP700 roadster like 2014-15, lower miles, maybe around the $375k point? The S Roadsters look to be maybe $75k more which is a good value for what it brings being newer and better tech

She is home, insured, and plated! Went for my first drive this morning and was so happy to be back in a Big V12 Bull. It’s cool to see and feel the differences from the 2014 Roadster to my old 2017 SV. The biggest difference I noticed is the brakes are not as good as the SV. I also noticed that the steering is considerably heavier in Corsa mode compared to the SV. Anyways I gotta get back to driving….

Looks amazing, congratulations. Brakes look a lot more orange in your photos! Beauty!
The calipers are orange, the same orange that they offered for all Aventadors. Unfortunately it is a lighter orange color than the orange interior. It’s not that bad in person so I will probably just leave them.

Looks stunning, dare I say sophisticated in that colour, great choice, the wheels really set it off 🙂👍

.
Who would have thought I would buy a car with a boring exterior color lol. I do actually love this color combo and I agree it’s pretty darn sophisticated for me!

So I bought this wireless Bluetooth adapter and it did pair right away. Sound quality was ok. It would not show the songs names but you could use the factory skip button to get to the next song. Unfortunately it has stopped working after only a few times using it. Even if it did work properly I was not happy with the sound quality.
