Hello,

One is the office address and machine shop, and the other is the shop.

The shop address is the Margate Address, we also have a custom CNC machine shop which is in Ft. Lauderdale and which is also the corporate address.

Thanks.

I've heard some good things about Smithmotorworks in Panama City, FL. Will try to get some personal experience in the next couple of weeks. Link to their site:

I show the following address for Precision Exotics. Are there two companies with the same name or did you relocate? One in Margate and one in Fort Lauderdale?

Precision Exotics Address: 6027 NW 31st Avenue Suite B Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309 Site: Precision Exotics - South Florida's Premier Service and Custom Establishment Phone: 561-319-7923 E-mail: jnunez@precisionexotics.com
I will give Precision a try since they are open Saturdays and around the corner from my place. Hang tight for feedback.

Bumping this for the Active Topic list. If folks have updates or new experiences to contribute about independent Lambo service centers then please post them here and I'll make sure the first post is kept fresh!

Thanks!

This is a question for the Pittsburgh area people. I have a customer who purchased a quicksilver for his Countach and needs someone with experience to install it. The shop the car is at now is having difficulty because of the modifications that have to be done., welding, cutting and bending. Anyone know of anybody for this job I can rely on let me know please.

I just had Dave at Smithmotorworks fix my Gallardo after I installed my battery backwards. This is the second time I've had my car to him (first time was for an oil change, lower .5" inch, paint and install of RSC 560 nose. Very pleased with the service. The shop is in Panama City, FL.

Bump for updates. Anyone have any new indie shops they would like to report about?
I should be picking up my `07 G from an indy I've found here in Charlotte who's powder coating my brake calipers and installing a new X-pipe exhaust system of his own design and manufacture. He's in the process of a business name change and a new website, so I don't want to post anything until he's up and running under his new name. He did the 15K maintenance on my `04 and I was very satidfied with his work and his cost. The guy's got factory racing team experience having been on winning teams at Daytona, Nuburgring, Spa and LeMans. Also a member of the Audi factory racing team. I should be able to post info within the next few days.

Great! Looking forward to the follow-up.

Smoky: My tech is still in the process of building his new website, but please add Huwe Motorsports of Charlotte, NC to the list. The head tech is Stefan Huewe; he did the 15k maintenance on my `04 G, and did the powder coating of the brake calipers on my `07 G, as well as installed an X-Pipe exhaust sytem of his own design and manufacture. He has the computer diagnostic programs for all Porsches, Ferraris and Lambos. Until his website is completed, he can be reached at 704-707-5770. His e-mail address is <stefan@huewe.com> or <stefan@huwems.com> He's located about 200 yards from Underground Racing.

Please see my post under the "independent lamborghini technicians" thread. Its a little lengthy (and forgive my typos, my grand sons were playing with me while I typed) but I listed SOME of the work I've had Driven Exotics do, can't speak highly enough about them.
I have also had work done at Driven Exotics in Gilroy and had a 5* experience. Steve, the owner, runs what could be a Lamborghini museum that doubles as a first rate service center. They only work on Lamborghini. My last experience there involved them working with me to replace my key fob for under half the price the dealer quoted me. Job involved a lot of trouble shooting to do something the factory claimed was impossible.

There were cars shipped from around the country for service including two Countachs, LM002s, a 400GT, a bunch of Diablos.
