EVO vs McLaren

Aside from what Eamon said Mclaren’s customer support has an extremely poor reputation.

The Lambo doors are very nice, and both cars look incredible. Now here’s childish, which sounds cooler, “I own a Lamborghini” or “I own a McLaren”?

It's WAY less prestigious to car people as well because we have seen what is behind the curtain....stupid level of depreciation, poor reliability, small and helpless dealer network, and a corporation that survives on ignoring the needs of owners in hopes of them falling for the next illusion....
That alone would be enough to steer me towards Lamborghini. If it was priced at the same level as the new C8 it might be worth it. I am sure it is a very fun & fast car.

Besides what everyone else has mentioned here, I believe there are some other points worth considering that should sway you one direction or the other:

1. AWD vs RWD. Personally, this is a super important factor in my enjoyment of a car. Which better suits your driving style? One is not necessarily better than the other, it comes down to preference.

2. How long do you plan to keep the car? This is related to the above mentioned issues about reliability and residual value. If you only plan to keep the car for a short period of time and intend to lease, then reliability is less of a concern and residual value is not a concern. If you intend to keep the car forever, or for a long period of time, then I'd factor in reliability, availability of service departments based on where you live, and perhaps residual value.

3. Appearance. Which looks better to you is more important than which looks better to others.
I think you nailed it! That is exactly what I would have asked myself if it was me trying to choose.

All a test drive is going to do for you is make you want more, it's like drug!
