A few headers availible, secret weopon from brazil, there's also a guy on youtube who fabricates them for customers and Exhautech. After much research and looking at photos it seems the factory headers are pretty much equal length, you won't really find much in the way of power gains or sound. The real benefits come from getting an equal length front pipe, this is really important for sound and there's a handful fabricating them, valvetronics, gintani and a few others. That is where the original aventador found it's high pitch and was subsequently lost by later models. my guess is due to the size of catalytic converters needed for emissions the front pipe package had to be uneven for packaging reasons

I think if fitted as they are, there will likely be more heat in the engine bay so a drop in power (every degree makes a difference) and less heat contained within the collectors so less scavenging and velocity. There's a few conpanies around that could fabricated factory type fully integrated and welded heatshields. But power and sound gains that you will actually feel and hear are all within the front pipes being decatt and equal length

The Murci has a similar manifold layout to the Aventador and by swapping headers and increasing the diameter to 3" the car picked up 55whp/62wtq over stock manifolds and similar exhaust layout in 2.5". Take a look inside the factory manifolds, collector design is nice, but the fabricators are quite lazy and welds really hinder a nice transition. I would expect greater gains with the Aventador, especially in the upper RPM.

There are virtually countless amounts of heat shield products available. With ceramic coating the under hood temps dropped with aftermarket headers on the Murci.

The original videos of the ultra-high pitch Boomcraft StarDropper Aventadors that had the Aventador community going crazy had:
  • Boomcraft Headers
  • Boomcraft Cat Bypass Pipes
  • Boomcraft StarDropper Exhaust.
*Brilliant was the manufacturer behind at least the Cast Pipes and Exhaust System.

@daleypower2018 : The EXHAUTECH Headers come with Heat Wrap.

@daleypower2018 : I don't think the factory headers are equal length. One reason being that they extended the headers on the SVJ to relocate the o2 sensor from the cat pipe to the header, and it appears they extended one header a lot more than the other header. It's hard to know for sure without measuring, but it seems one of them wouldn't be equal.

Considering that the Highest Pitch Aventadors are both from Boomcraft and EXHAUTECH .. the common theme is the Equal Length Headers.

The EXHAUTECH headers and midpipes are now fully powdercoated for heat protection and installed along with an LNB exhaust (Lamborghini Newport Beach, formerly LOC - Lamborghini Orange County for those in the know). The pitch of the sound produced is so high I need to buy a much higher quality mic to accurately capture the sound. Its incredible. I held the EXHAUTECH headers up to the stock headers before they were installed. The stock headers have some sharper, less smooth transitions. Look at the pic I posted above of the stock units next to the EXHAUTECH headers and you will see an example of this on the header in the top left where the stock pipe has been somewhat flattened. They also don't seem to be quite equal length although they are not too far off. Still, even slight changes seem to make a difference. Finally, for anyone wondering, TR3 Performance (serious shop - they have a Super Trofeo race team) in Florida did the install and I was told that fitment was spot on. Zero issues.

i can already imagine the beautiful sound, well done

i was actually researching if its worth it to install the Exhautech headers together with my Brilliant Exhaust for even higher pitch than just Brilliant Exhaust (midpipes, muffler) system by itself. I wonder if the Exhautech headers would bolt on to the Brilliant Exhaust midpipes as normal.

Curious question, I was told the engine needs to be dropped to reach the headers. When TR3 Performance did your headers, did they have to drop the engine in order to install the Exhautech headers?
