i own the company that does the floors. my friend owns the car(its not a kit). this is the best combo for the hi-end look of a completed garage. i do however love his car. he went to pocono raceway a couple of weeks ago. perhaps in the future ill be posting pics of mine.:D i also do logos in the the concrete.

If I am not mistaken oil would have little if any effect on the surface. I am sure it is sealed and well protected. XS can you comment?

well, you would be correct. Nothing sticks to it and oil can be wiped up and you would never know it was there. there are also no hot tire marks on this type of floor covering. we use the highest grade of top coating money can buy. polyaspartic alphalitic polyurea ,say that 3 times fast, this is 3 times stronger than epoxy and resistant to all chemicals produced and used in an automobile. this is available in high gloss or matte. we also use urathane for the same reason, but when abrasion resistence is called for this is the FOREVER top coat.
im glad you guys like my floors, thanks for all the compliments.
the high gloss is unbeliveable...Acid Stained Concrete Floors & Concrete Countertops - Home

Ric,

I'm in the flooring business myself (I'm in Europe, so no competition). We use epoxy, polyurethane and MMA. This topcoat looks unbelievable. Could you give me some info on the manufacturer?
Much obliged,

Jef

the price depends on the options. we can score the concrete into tile we can use multiple colors different color borders and we offer different top coats in hi-gloss and matte. also the existing condition of your slab could effect the price. pm me with your specifics and ill work out a ball park for you.

Rick,

As said, thanks a million for your email and info. I have been doing some serious research on this hybrid polyurea subject. In Europe (Holland to be more precise) there's a company that can provide me with a similar (American) product, but it needs to be sprayed (70°Celsius, cures immediately). I definitely don't want to go there, so I will contact your reference next week. I think we're going to be in business pretty soon :D. And you're in, as far as I'm concerned.
I also would like to find out how exactly you stain concrete.

I think it's best if we continue this story by means of private email?
Then again: thanks Lamborghini-Talk!:)

Rick, do get get it right, and are those 'virtual' tiles?
One way or another: looks great.
Btw: still waiting for an answer from their CEO.

Best,

Jef

yes they are virtual tiles, but the have a 1/16 score line in the concrete between them to produce a faux grout line also. when standing on them it looks as if you used an extremly expensive stone tile.

thought of this site when i completed this floor!

its been a while since i posted here, but i thought of this site when i did this floor. this garage was 1.2mill when completed. 12 car garage with a double deep full wet wash bay. second floor is a fully equiped game room.
the center bay of this garage has a 14foot movie screen for drive-in movies along with a 5.1 surround sound system with 2 subwoofers. complete with radiant floors for heat and mini-split A/C units. totally awesome. i installed all of the A/V, drive-in and surveilance systems along with the awesome "PAP" floors. i should bring over the purple diablo and take some pics.
I completed this floor in 2 days and moved all vehicles back in that night.
thought you guys might like it

Holy mother of garage floors!...that is beautiful!

yeah, i agree:eek:. this is a wood structure building that also houses a wood furnace and backup generator large enough to run the house near by also. 3 baths, full kitchen, 2nd floor deck...but i agree, 1.2 is alot for a home garage. he also has 2 huge steel buildings where the rest of his collection is...oddly enough, currently no exotics, only old american muscle. over 50 cars in the collection.

mike we go all over depending on the size or the travel cost:). we have a bid out now for 50,000sqft. ill be gone from home for a while on that one.

there are 32 colors of solid color and 7-8 colors of stain. the new picture is a solid color "PAP". We can do any design or combination of colors. this one really stood out when completed, i knew you guys would appreciate it. i also own a theater company that builds affordable custom theaters for clients and this seems to be a new trend...well in that circle of friend anyway.
