I bought some of the products the guy in the video was using and I already had some. The wife wanted to wash her car today, so I decided to use the new stuff. Car came out great but it’s supposed to rain the next two days, so it will stay in the garage until Wednesday. Here are some pics of the result.

Had to get the Lambo shot.

I have to be honest… my Murci rides so low to the ground, it’s a real pain to bend over and wash it. That’s why I hire 4 midgets to wash it. They’re great workers. Never once have they complained, even in the middle of the winter and below zero temperatures.

Are you serious? Think I’d be laughed out of my complex if I walked around with a backpack blower!! Looks awesome though. I’ll stick with my handheld til I grow bigger cojones!
Absolutely serious.

Thankfully we live on a large property with no neighbors to spy on my activities.

One caution however. If one decides to use a blower this powerful on a vehicle, especially vehicles in which the body is aluminum, be aware that you can actually flex the panels if you blow at a 90* angle. Always blow at an angle and pay attention to your PPF if it is not fully wrapped around all corners.

You went with the black walls.... UGH I was looking to do the same or possibly a black ceiling like Obsessed Garage has done in the past... I"m boring so I did all white everything throughout the house (Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace). Watching Pan and Obsessed Garage will get your detailing techniques dialed in and your cars look great!

Thank you, brother. Glad you went with Benjamin Moore. That is the best paint! If you ever repaint your garage, look into the Benjamin Moore Scuff-X. This paint is perfect for a garage or any room that has things that could potentially scrape the walls. literally no marks or scratches unless you go too deep and take the pain off the wall. It's like ppf for walls lol
Even though washing a car takes hours, I really enjoy doing it. That video you posted really help.

Our entire house is Chantilly Lace which is not kid proof at all.... we've had parents with kids come over lately, the dang kids are dragging their dirty greasy hands on the walls... my OCD can't handle it. We have a baby on the way, at a young age they'll learn to wash their hands after dinner, don't lean or touch the walls.

My wife and I are the same as you. lol My kids know not to lean or touch the walls in the house.

We built out a bathroom specifically for pool parties so kids don't have to come through the house to go to the restroom and get everything wet. We have major OCD when it comes to our house.

I just built this house and didn't put an outdoor bathroom in... regretting it so much. I thought about it half way through the permit process but just for the Ramada permit, it took the city of Phoenix 6 months to approve, then with the sewer line being back at the house, I was going to cost too much to extend it behind the ramada. Now when there are kids at the house, we put towels down so they dry their feet off and body before walking through the house.

Beautiful home and I wish you only happy memories there.

Our winter home in Coastal Georgia is right on the ocean and there is nothing but sand. Attempting to grow a variety of grasses has been a true challenge. One fix would be to bring in 500 cubic yards of quality dirt and reseed after, or artificial grass as you wisely chose. After getting the estimate of $110K for the artificial grass I chose to pass on that option, especially since it needs to be replaced as it degrades. I was told it would last 8 years max in the South.

With regards to a children's toilet and keeping them out of the house, one option would be a small composting toilet that you could place on the back side of the pool cabana. You could have a little enclosure built and it would be out of sight. I know it is not the optimal solution, but sometimes you have to work outside of the envelope. I looked into these when we purchased an Island in Maine and was trying to find the best solution for building our home. These actually work great outdoors, but I would not want one inside of a house.

We put about 9.5k sq/ft of turf on our property but its really good quality and should last 15-20 years before needing replacement, but here in Arizona, its the only way to go. No chance that I'll be watering that much real grass nor taking care of it throughout the year. We have a baby on the way, 12 weeks in, hopefully its a boy and I'll teach him to pee behind the ramada in the rocks haha now if we have a girl.... maybe a composting toilet will come in very handy. I'm dreading throwing parties at the house with a plethora if kids running around, destroying the house. We should have bought a beater home for the next 5 years instead of building what we did but YOLO!

I’m not too sure about Arizona, but in the Midwest some people use an under sized septic tank. You can build a small shower/bathroom. For your usage, I think it should work. Depends on local ordinances.

Growing up, my parents had strict rules of where children were allowed in the house. We followed these rules to the letter and stayed in the 'childrens' section of the home. Everything stayed organized and neat.

When my late parents built our summer home on Cape Cod it was three stories high. My parents were on the third floor and we had the bottom two. The deal was we were not allowed on 3, and they were not allowed on 1 or 2.

It worked out well for all parties concerned. Especially when girlfriends spent the night.

With regards to parties and your home being trashed, we finally decided it was just too much work, so we either rented out a venue or restaurant for the party and let them deal with the food, alcohol, parking, cleanup etc. Maybe this avenue may lower your anxiety and greatly reduce the effort required as well.

Looks great. Are you lowered on Novitec HAS with ghostlinks? Thoughts on how it drives as compared to stock?
Yup, Novitec + Ghost Links + Spacers. It drives the same, I can’t tell the difference to be honest but I only drive in Corsa which is stiff with mag ride. It looks sooooo much better after doing this mod
