bluetooth device to Gallardo stereo?

I have bluetooth, but it's only for the phone.

So I got this:

It works on regular stereo hookups, but NOPE not on the Gallardo. My car is new 2014, was hoping latest software so not sure what the problem is.

I'm getting this error:

Anyone using extra bluetooth device for music? I just don't want to leave my iPhone in the glovebox. I've seen the other thread where this one was successfully done with a different device. But was wondering if there is some other issue?

I don't think the gallardo BT can be used to stream music. Only for phones. It's an old Audi head unit.

You can go aftermarket (new head unit or add aftermarket BT adaptor like Parrot) or connect the phone via wire.

Otherwise, FM modulator works too.

That's too bad the FreeDa won't work. I would love to have that option as well.
