2019 Aventador SVJ e-gear issue DTC P073D Unable to engage neutral - implausible signal. Replaced battery, Fuse Good, replaced relay - good, replaced e-gear fluid, performed e-gear bleeding procedure using Lambo diag laptop. Cleared codes. Test drove. The vehicle drove fine just for 10 mins, then it refused to get out of N, scanned for DTCs and saw same DTC P073D. After the car cools down and DTCs erased the vehicle goes back to shifting gears. Any suggestions?

Sounds like classic Aventador e-Gear gremlins. If you’ve already swapped the battery, relay, and fluid, I’d take a hard look at the actuator or clutch position sensor—both can throw intermittent issues like this, especially when things heat up. Might also be worth checking the wiring harness for any hidden damage or loose connectors. These systems love to act up when they get hot.

This may sound outlandish, but a brake light switch fixed my Murcielago when I encountered an intermittent E-gear/transmission fault and wouldn't engage a gear. Unfortunately, I don't recall the code/s.
It's a thirty dollar part available quickly from Audi and simple to swap out. Some of these switches are prone to failure. I keep a spare in the cubby behind my seat.
