I don't know what kind of a Lambo tech you are but a bad clutch can definitely interfere with shifting or smooth shifting. Lamborghini clutches have very low tolerances. If you don't set them up or calibrate them correctly, it won't release or it won't engage properly. When a clutch builder doesn't calibrate it correctly, the clutch won't shift or it shifts in a rough manner. Sometimes the tolerance is as low as 0.005 of an inch. So if you calibrate it more than 0.005 inch, it won't shift properly. FYI, A paper is about 0.005 inch thick!!!
One of the reasons that a Pega/GTE clutch doesn't shift properly is that the clutch disc is too thick and that's why Serkan tells them to drive it more and the problem will go away. That's not how you build a clutch because rough shifting puts a lot of stress and load on the synchros and you can end up having to rebuild the transmission.
Here is another example of a rough shifting Murcielago clutch that was rebuilt incorrectly. The customer complained that he has a tough time going into reverse and it grinds when he uses forward gears. He was being told to keep driving the car and the problem will go away. Thank God, Steeve, one of our longtime good customers, contacted him and told him to contact us. After talking to the customer, we told him not to drive the car anymore. I told him if you think a clutch is expensive, then you'll be shocked how expensive it is to rebuild a transmission. He installed our Kevlar clutch and the shifting was perfect and he told us that the shifting has never been this smooth even with an oem clutch.
This is what he wrote:
"It is unfortunate that I had purchased a kevlar clutch from a different vendor for my Lamborghini Murcielago 6-speed, and immediately after installation had serious problems. The vehicle would not go into reverse and was grinding gears unless I very carefully matched revs. The vendor asked me to drive the car to bed-in the clutch.
I drove the vehicle 800 miles with no improvement; very disappointing.
Had to replace the clutch ... again. You know what that means (engine-out)
Purchased kevlar clutch from Sean at Hi Tech Exotic. Parts arrived promptly and with the (new) old clutch out for comparison it was plain as day how differently-sized the parts were.
Sean gave terrific customer service and outstanding follow-up. Installed new clutch and it is smooth like the proverbial butter analogy.
Again, Sean gave regular updates on shipping, and several follow-up calls after receipt. Delighted with his service.
I highly recommend Sean and Hi Tech Exotic for parts quality, shipping proficiency, and most of-all - customer service."

Steeve is correct. Serkan/GTE was banned because he kept spamming this board. We are a vendor here. We support this board by paying to be a vendor. We also try to help and answer questions in order to assist members here but all you do is, you keep spamming the board and want to get promotion for free. That's not right. It's very fishy that both of your posts are only about promoting Pega/GTE.
