Default P0507 after car wash

I always get a P0507 code after getting a car wash. This code is high idle but my idle is around 750-900rpm which I believe is normal. Code usually goes away after a short while but this time it has stuck around for a bit. Any ideas?

After you get the car washed try driving it 15 or 20 miles to dry everything out including wires and exposed sensors.

What kind of "car wash"?

Hand-wash? Automated brush-wash? High-power jet-wash?

Could be water splashing on the alternator, or similar.

Try placing a plastic waterproof sheet across the whole engine bay, to keep out all water. Make sure the engine is 100% stone-cold, keep the key well away from the ignition-slot, and don't forget to remove the sheet after washing.

This would be a hand wash at home and I place towels to cover up the engine bay vents next to the glass engine bay display on the rear so that no water gets in there. Sometimes I will drive it for 15-20 minutes sometimes I just wash and put it in the garage.

Confirmed, All P05xx codes are related to "IDLE speed or Cruise control".
According to my manual (2007), beside the RPM it also says, TPSL (throttle position self learning)
