Hey everyone.

I hope all of your cars are running fine.
The Gallardo had some problems again. After I had replaced the clutch I found a little oil leak in the tranmission cooling lines running from the end of the transmission to the cooler.
I thought it would be no problem to get them made in a local hydraulic shop or so. But it turned out to be a little bit more tricky. Lambo made some changes over the time to these lines, their connections and the thermostat. So it was not possible to use the R8 parts.

After driving around a whole day, I found someone who made new lines in 30 minutes. They had to reuse the connections of the old lines and soldered them into the new ones.
The new lines are way more flexible and a little bit thicker.

The price was around 300€, so 1/4 of the Lambo price. And I was lucky enough to get them directly without waiting.

Because there is not much room under the right header, I had to do some finger breaking wrenching.

But all is running fine again.

If anyone needs some help, just let me know.

Sorry no installed pics. But it's looking like factory. I just had to make a new bracket under the right header and a new heat shield. Because the new lines are a little bit thicker, they won't fit in the oem bracket with the oem heat sleeve.
Everything else was fine.

The work sucks a bit, because you can't see anything and there's not much room under the header to fit the bracket.

But it took me maybe 2-3 hours. So no big deal.
