Default High oil temperature

Hi everyone,
I noticed that the oil temperature in my Lamborghini Gallardo is very high , even after not driving the car for couple of days .
Is it a serious issue which need to be fixed immediately , or itís just a wire problem and false gauge reading.
Please some advise..
Thank you

How high? You mean needle is pegged hot even right at start up? Need more details.

That's usually a temperature sending unit. Probably needs to be replaced.

Sensor. But wouldn't drive it. If its not the sensor, and you drive it, well, lets not speculate, but not good.
