Default First problem with the perfect car

funny. That’s it. Rear license plate lights. Both are out and cool warning in the dash. Would this be a fuse? Done have time to look it up, but doubt both went at same time, lol. Love this car and thank you audi for doing the electronics or we’d all be way worse off with these vehicles.

I've had intermittent warnings for the rear license plate lights a couple times. Upon closer inspection I found that the lamp housings and connections for the festoon bulbs were just a bit dirty. Those bulb housings can pick up a bit of dirt and dust over time it seems. Give it all a good clean and throw some new bulbs in there just in case.

Dude that looks serious it may be time to junk it. ;-)

As others said above. If they are both out check the fuse and go from there with cleaning the sockets and replace the lamps if not.

should buff right out

if not, then try eye drops aka blinker fluid

because the plate lights are just like blinkers... with an ultra low blinking period of approximately once a day... on at dusk, off at dawn

;-)

Actually it fixed itself. Lol. That pic was before I started it, but drove to the store and when I re-started it, the light was gone and both came back on. When I have some time will clean the bulb contacts

Lol, it's funny how many women fall for that statement on blinker fluid.

I think this is a common problem, one of my globe sockets was actually so corroded I had to replace it.

Luckily this is a easy problem, a dream problem if that's all we have to complain about
