Default BMW M Drive

Went to an M Drive this week. Very impressed with the M Cars. Fast, fun, and comfortable. Would be great daily drivers. Civilized and easy to drive. Not raw like the Gallardo.

So grab one as another car in the stable. always fun to have different cars for different days. Right? Or wait for a nice used one.

I've had an F80 m3 for a while just can't seem to part from it. New M5 is great just a little big. Thinking about an X5M next.

The more the better as far as i'm concerned Jason.

They are awesome fun cars for sure. A used one makes good sense if going to be a daily driver.

The M8 Competition has nailed it.

I recently test drove the M2 Competition and came away slightly disappointed. For a car that is touted as being the best M car ever, with elements of older glorious M cars like the 2002, 1M, E46 M3, etc, this car feels heavier than it should. The tossibility is there but the car has a heavy nose, which I guess I'd not have noticed had I not gotten spoiled by the Performante. The shifter took effort to get used to, and my yardstick is that a good manual transmission should be easily picked up during the first minute of a test drive. Most cars pass this test, this car did not.
The increased power of the M2C over the M2 is offset by the increased weight to a degree.

I recently traded my M2C. I really liked it but when I purchased it I was actually shopping for Gt350R but dealers wanted 10k to 20k over MSRP. Well I picked up a brand new 2019 GT350R for 5k below MSRP a week ago. It's currently getting PPF and ceramic coating.
