Default Would you switch to an Aventador?

Looking at getting an Aventador after the Huracan. But am on the fence after test driving the Evo. Both amazing in their own ways.

Anyone go to V12 and regret it?

A friend of mine recently went from his Huracan to an Aventador, got out of the Avetandor very quickly as he didnt like and now happily in a Huracan sypder. No Aventador in my future, first find it to big and would never get a single clutch car

As always, do a scorecard, to help a tight decision.

* Aventador
Looks = 10
Noise = 10
Speed = 9
Handling = 8
Cost = 7
TOTAL = 44/50 (88%)

* Evo
Looks = 8
Noise = 9
Speed = 9
Handling = 8
Cost = 8
TOTAL = 42/50 (84%)

* Performante (H)
Looks = 9
Noise = 9
Speed = 10
Handling = 10
Cost = 9
TOTAL = 47/50 (94%)

Decision:
* Huracan Perf = head
* Aventador = heart

I have been contemplating doing just this for the last few months BUT it would only be upgrading to an SV. I would have to outlay at least 300K AUD ( around 200K USD ) to replace my HP, which I purchased new and know the car very well.

Personally I would not buy a standard AV or the AV-S as they will depreciate hard when the AV replacement is release late next year

Not a fan of the trans in the Aventador.
I do like looking at them.

Love the Aventador and I've been tempted to sell my Perf and get myself an Aventador but after testing driving one I couldn't handle the ISR. It feels ancient and feels like the AT in my first gen R8 which was awful especially in stop and go traffic.

I've considered the SV but I'm waiting because the replacement around the corner so expect prices on the SV and even SVJ to take a hit.

Leave it to Lambo to create this mess..... this should not even be a topic. Making your flagship the slower car..... smh.

But boy do we love that 12 scream.

I went from a 2017 Huracan to 2019 avs roadster. No regrets at all. Yes, the single clutch is no where as smooth as the H but some improvement in the av-s compared to av. Love the sound of the v12 and presence of the Aventador. The 4 wheel steering on the avs makes car a bit more nimble and better turning radius relative to the aV. Also wanted a convertible and just not a fan of the soft top on the H Spyder.

Would I go from my Huracan to an Aventador? In a word, no - the Aventador is too big and unwieldy for me, I don't like the clunky single clutch gearbox, and looks-wise the high-priced SVJ roadster is the only variant that I'd consider given how much I love the looks of my Performante Spyder. I'd also have concerns about how easy it'd be to get the power down compared with my Perf.

On the flipside I've never owned a V12 and would love to do so one day, but I wouldn't trade my Perf for an Aventador in order to do it. My Perf was bought new, and for that money I could have had a nice pre-owned Aventador, but it was never really an option.

Went from a Super G to an Aventador and can say I love it. Yes, its bigger but find it feels more centered and balanced than the G. A Single clutch to me is part of the experience and frankly after you learn how to drive it is not as bad as all make it out to be. Is it as refined as a Dual clutch, no, but that is the rawness that makes the car exciting. That refinement is what drove me away from the 488 and Huracan. Oh and that V12 sound and looks are fantastic.
