Lamborghini has now produced more Huracans than Gallardos in 5 years and still going!

Will this affect the value substantially? The gallardo has held very, very well over time. The huracan is also holding like a rock- will we see a drop as these used cars come to market? I’m considering a low mile 580-2 for 175k and will keep it 2 years or so.

I would not say the Hurcan is holding like a rock...that's only seemingly so because the Lambo dealers are asking huge premiums for used, as if the car was gold. But they end up selling them for much less than asking in the end.
Go sell one and tell me that they are holding value "like a rock"...

There are thousands more buyers today (than in the past) in China, India and emerging Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America, as well as significantly cheaper finance deals across North America and Western Europe. New money and new debt are making the Huracan very popular worldwide.

im in the market for a murci but i wouldnt mind a huracan. Only reason why I havent bought one of the many huracans availablke is because Im not about to spend 160-180 on a used huracan just to have it be worth 110-120 in 2 years or maybe even less....

i kinda can see huracans in the future being well under 100k especially for the ones with high mileage (and there are alot with high mileage, people actually drive these things)

My guess is if the fleet holds up for the next 5-7 years your gonna see alot more cheap huracans in the hands of younger tuner crowd. they are gonna be everywhere...

I never thought Id see the day were huracans (lambos) were the norm at your local nighttime tuner meets at your nearest parking lot being driven by 20 yr old kids

Gallardos are in the 60-80K range. Do you see them at tuner meets? Yes there are less of them, but that should give you an idea of the future for the H.

You can search online the stats for cars of each make and model registered in the UK.
As at the end of 2018 there were 650 Huracans registered in the UK (46 of which were unlicenced or 'SORN'-ed). The stats for the Gallardo were 685 (178 of which are unlicenced or 'SORN'-ed).

Of the 650 registered Huracans (i) 43 are up for sale on Ebay and (ii) 306 of the 650 are Performantes.

Of the 685 registered Gallardos 16 are registered as Superlegerras and 6 of those are unlicenced or 'SORN'ed.

Make of that what you will!

Unfortunately good sounding cars are soon going to be a thing of the past…

Aftermarket is the key...

Good opp for you retailer guys to sell more aftermarket exhausts, remaps, throttle boosters, etc. to anyone with a soulless hybrid or gasoline-filtered combustion engine.

Saw a 488 in the summer transformed by a (much) louder exhaust system and bodykit.
