About 4 weeks after I got my 2008 Gallardo SL the "low WW indicator" started to flash. I filled the reservoir and everything was fine for another 6 weeks or so. I have never used the windshield washers.

Now it is flashing again. I just filled it again, it was empty. I frequently check under the car and there has never been any indication of leaks.

Does this stuff evaporate? Anybody have the same problem?

I think you have a small leak somewhere. With all the lower shields etc, a small leak may never get to the ground before it dries/evaporates

That is provided your not using it to cool your intake charge in your meth injection system :p

Hopefully it's not a sign of previous collision damage...

I had a similar issue in my BMW where the level sensor had a small leak and I would lose all the washer fluid over a couple months.. I replaced the whole reservoir (came with the level sensor) and never had an issue again. It may be cracked or leaking from there..

Thanks for the info guys. I think you hit the nail on the head.

I'm going to see if I can remove the fill tube and reservoir and locate/repair the leak.

And no, I am not using it to charge my meth injection system (I don't even know what that means). I am as stock as you can get.

What does the indicator light look like? I have a icon flashing shooting water or something?lol looks like the spaceship from asteroids. New to these car and tried googling it and all the icons I see don’t resemble what I have going on?

Front tub removal is fairly easy, straightforward. Do a quick search here first to find a few hidden bolts to remove, depending on if a CD changer or none. Save and be gentle with the gasket which seals the entire top of tub to the car. You’ll use this same gasket to put it back together so take a few pics first and pay attention to the way it goes on. You will find the washer reservoir and lines in there.
