I want to tint my driver & passenger side windows. Any recommendations on type of tint and % of tint?

Thanks Albert, looks like I can go 35% here. I was it going to do it but I was looking at my car today and I just thought how much nicer it would look with those side windows tinted.

Had ours tinted prior to delivery, and I am glad I did. The dark tinted windows, black wheels, orange calipers, and the Blu Cepheus paint really look every bit like a mean dream machine. Plus ZERO GLARE!!!
I wish I would’ve thought to have them do it before I picked the car up, but didn’t realize I really wanted it. Did you do just the side windows or the rear window as well?

Russ I did the side windows, windshield, and the small bit of glass between the engine and the cabin. I did not do the rear bonnet glass....heck I want to see the engine art! I had everything tinted @25% which, as we I mentioned, is the legal limit for Texas.
Sounds nice. I will just do the 2 side windows. The small glass behind the seats is always down so no need.

Are you going to tint the windshield?
No I only want the 2 side windows but if no one is willing to do it without taking the door panels off I just won’t tint them.

That is what was used on mine and Russ like your state mine is 35% and I think it looks great. And again I suggest you do back window, you can go darker there and I did 25%, great for cutting down headlights from behind at night. Seems in spyders you can't just flip the mirror to do that?
I will ask my installer to use Xpel Prime XR 35% on mine as well.

I just figured I will go as dark as allowed and I think I had 35% the last time I did it.

Hawaii legal limit is 35% so I will go with it, in fact I wouldn’t want it any darker than that.

I didn't realize the lower the % the darker the color. So I am held to 35% by law which is lighter than Albert's at 25%.
I am having a heck of a time finding an installer that I trust to do it. Most have never done a lamborghini. I am on my 5th guy now and hopefully he will be the one.

Glass is glass so not sure why it matters that it's a lambo? Just make sure they don't remove door panels, that was never done that on any car I have owned
I found a guy that says he doesn't need to remove the door panels. He also told me they have a way to trick the window so that it does not lower that 1" when you open the door?
I wanted to wait for it to be done and was wondering how long will it take to dry before I can open and close the door?

Happy Boy that looks perfect! I can't get 30%, the darkest allowed is 35%. I wasn't going to bother with the small side windows or the rear window but I think will now.

Would look terrible if you don't do side windows to match
Yes once I saw happy boys I realized it. It would look incomplete.

I love the look Happyboy. My problem with the murcie is that I dont see as well at night and dont want to cut down on visibility. I also like all the smiles I get when I wave back to people. Hey Russ, If you tint the windows ,all the young girls will pull up and flirt with you (Hoping some 20 something is driving)You might even get flashed. Now for me, they speed up till they catch me.(Then go on by)However the late 30s and 40 somethings still smile and wave. Getting old sucks. (The good thing is those 30 and 40 somethings still look good)Lee
Lol, it ain’t like it used to be that’s for sure. The tinted windows could be the answer!

I took everyone's advice and did the small side windows as well and also I decided I might as well do the small rear window.
