Never go to Rollo’s. What a pathetic excuse for a wheel shop, they took 5 days with delays and lies about finishing and made me miss my service appointment and then showed up with this garbage work and said no refunds. Before/after:

That sucks... seems like it's hard to find a good wheel place around here, or people that are detail oriented!

The one I went to messed up the paint job TWICE because the idiots that were painting next to my wheel had a fan blasting their face because "it was too hot" and they couldn't realize that the fan was over spraying my wheel so they had to powder coat it a THIRD time which is not really recommended (can affect wheel structure) and even though the face of the wheel wasn't over sprayed the 3rd time and looks good (this is where the original small damage was), some sections on the INSIDE look like CRAP, like if I put a torch and bubbled the paint.

Here are the pics, a section of the inside of the wheel that they messed up and the the original damage on the face of the wheel, where my fingers are pointing at.

The "good" thing is that the inside of the wheels always gets super dirty with a very dark brown coat and you can't see that bad finish at all, but it still pisses me off! They told me I could bring the wheel back to get it painted again but after so many attempts, I decided to just let it be instead of taking a chance of them messing it up even more, at least the front of the wheel is perfect.

By the way, the place I took it to is called "Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists of Houston"

I see you had a similar experience as I did with "Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists of Houston" (on Hwy 59/I69). They messed up some AMG alloys I had on my S Class. They would do nothing and were extremely unreliable. All they did was grind most of the wheel edge off and spray clear coat.

Rollo's at one time was good, but even their repairs have been subpar lately.

Wow, this thread will save more than a few from unnecessary grief. I guess the Houston Specialists are not all that special.

Maybe they’re lower back specialists?
Yes, precisely, and from all the forgoing comments it appears they are a royal pain in the arse. Proctologists'?
