I put together a video showing the procedure to change spark plugs and ignition coils on Diablo 6.0 and Early Murcielago models. The video shows all the correct part numbers for alternate coils that cost under $40 each compared to the latest price of over $1800 each from Lamborghini.

These videos are made for fun and to inform. I'm not a YouTube star but it is nice to get a like, comment, or follow to encourage more content.

Nice video.

Lamborghini prices for (most of) the parts are stupid.

I like to notice that most people and even some mechanids seem to think spark plugs needs to be tight, but they really need not.
I tighten sparkplugs like this:

  • with extension, hand tight spark plug, as tight as it goes only by tightening by hand from socket extension.
  • get long enaugh extension to socket so ratchet get free turn around.
  • Tight sparkplug from "12 a clock" to "8 a clock" , thats it, not tighter.

this is illustrated on NGK sparkplug packing and regomend using it.
