Hey All! Just noticed several websites are reporting sightings of the pending Urus refresh. Have any of you heard any details from perhaps salesman etc of what's going to be different and when it will be coming out? My 2021 pearl capsule is currently in production. Hope the refresh isn't significantly different. The timeline seems optimistic that some of these sites are reporting.

Hey there. I saw this as well yesterday and I take delivery of mine on Saturday so I share your feelings. I haven't heard anything, but I don't think we have too much to worry about. In my area, the Urus is in high demand. I've seen used models with 10,000 miles being sold for practically new car price. Worst case scenario, enjoy it for a year and upgrade/trade :)

Congrats! Out of curiosity how long did it take to get yours from order to your pick up dates. I’ve heard of some people getting delayed. Did you also order a capsule?
yeah that’s kind of what I was thinking. If the refresh is significantly better or different I can always trade mine in and get that.

I don’t think this comes as a surprise to anyone. Just look at Huracan and Aventador, refresh roughly every 2-3 years. If history is any indicator, they’ll likely massage the front, and add a modest power bump.

BTW, mine is on the boat now. Should arrive in 3-4 more weeks. Making it 33-34 weeks from order to delivery.

Thanks, I’m full of excitement. Not cool enough for a capsule, flat black here :) I placed my order end of March/beginning of April. I was expecting delivery in December. My car was completed on November 28, but didn’t leave Emden until a month later I believe. Vessel docked at port on January 19. Car made it to dealer January 22. From there, the car was transported to a shop in town to get some customizations done.

I didn't know that about the app. Good to know. On the last build sheet I saw, mine had a Plan CP8 date April 10th. Not exactly sure what that means but I'm hoping it's a car completion date or better yet an arrival here date.

Wow, I'm surprised at how long they are taking. So you're also around that 8 month mark but then added another 2 months so 10 in total. I wonder if this is Corvid related or this is just the normal time it takes to get it. Heck at this rate mine will be a 2022!

Yes. I don’t know. For your sake, I hope it’s not the norm. The gentleman that owns the custom shop that worked on my car actually had a purple one on order; expected to be delivered in the summer. I spoke with him today and he told me Lamborghini informed him that the order would be pushed back sixxxxxxxxxxx months.

 That would not be good. I hope that's not the case. Perhaps he has a custom color or something delaying things.

That’s what I was thinking. Regardless, he ended up dropping the order and instead is picking up an unsold Urus which will be here in a matter of weeks. Certainly not a bad option.

I saw those articles the other day and got nervous. I immediately asked my dealer. They haven’t heard anything, but there feelings were it would be more of a SV, Performonte variant rather then a evo type. I’m hoping that’s true. I’m not looking for a sv type of truck. I’m just hoping they don’t do big things to the interior or front or back. Modest fine. Mine has a April Build date. I could always throw a tune On it.

I highly doubt anything major would be changed...lambo tends to be very conservative. Happy to hear from some enthusiastic Urus owners. These forums are graveyards compared to the ones for the German car crowd.

Yup I don’t think anything major either. I could see a SV Type since there has been speculation prior. MWorld never stops ! Lol. Love going onto the forums. The people in here helped me out a lot with decisions on my truck.

Agree. I hope not as well. It’s more mind numbing thinking that few months after you buy a car that it might be changed. Then again change is inevitable and I don’t want to go through the wait again. My dealer didn’t have any info on any updates or changes or even when it might happen. I was looking online for new inventory and it’s nearly nonexistent. I think the real play as was mentioned is to turn around and order another one if the changes are that significant and likely not lose much money at all on the urus trade in. My car has a April completion still in the computer as of today. Hopefully that doesn’t get pushed back.
Yeah not much activity on the forums compared to other brands. It’s even worse on the other Lamborghini forum. Everyone is incredibly helpful though. I just wish there was more dialogue overall. By the way as I’m new to the brand, what would be the difference between evo, performante and sv?

They are lighter weight, more power , and more aggressive . They also make less of them for a higher price of course. If the new urus is that, I wouldn’t care. I just don’t want to see a refresh 3 months after I get mine.

Yeah, its not ideal to have a car refresh right after you get your car. If it were any other car that you didn't have to wait so long for I would have waited for the refresh. Then again I just saw another website that was saying the refresh is minor cosmetic changes. Nonetheless, I'm just going to DD this one until I see a good reason to trade in.

Yup same here. I just don’t want a major change which I don’t think we will see or a completely updated interior. I’m going take this when it comes in and see how it goes with the updated one. These trucks hold there value pretty well, so it might not be terrible trading it in. All depends I guess. I am very excited to get mine tho.
