Seems like several of us are in the exact same position. We’re all buying the urus to hold us until our av replacements come in.

very conflicting right now. Was the perf the last non hybrid urus? Is that why it was launched first ? If so I do understand that. What’s strange is , like @Huracaan said is that people have allocations for the face lift and orders in. It’s just very confusing.is it actually the same model as the 21 and 22s? My dealer also said the facelift and perf were coming out around the same time. I still do believe a facelift will come out.

if it’s truly 2025 year that the facelift will come out I will absolutely get the perf.I certainly miss my urus, but I don’t want to get stuck in the same one I had.One of the main reasons I sold it , was because the facelift / perf was coming out

Go look at this post.
Look at my post above, in this thread. Hybrid is a separate model that will come years later. Facelift is coming soon.

I heard Performante is done as of this week
No more orders taken
What do mean done? Like no more alloctions? Most dealers in North America still haven't received allocation info yet.

Btw, this is what my US dealer friend told me about the Perf...

They are available to order and timing is around 2 years maybe a little more for delivery. We're asking for a deposit of $10k but we have not received any allocations yet because it was just announced last week. There's going to be way more demand than alloctions.

10k is what I did which was October for this. There may be 2 people a head of me but I’m very early on. I was told expect spring time most likely.

your making me want the perf.

I have two deposits out with two different dealers. One with the last one I used (not a lovely experience) and the other with one that I have heard great things about.
Allegedly, with the first dealer, I am the first on the list after the owners cars (I’ll believe it when I see it).

The second dealer tried to pushed me gently that my deposit was for a facelift. I pushed back and noted it was for the Perf and he conceded.

Not really sure if dealers tell everyone the same th

I guess well find out hopefully soon. I know each dealer operates differently. I asked if I needed a new deposit if I switch they said no. Just a new buyers agreement and it won’t hurt my spot. I did this almost a year ago now. I don’t want a hybrid. I’m torn between the facelift and the perf. Leaning towards the perf unless the facelift is similar and has a nicer interior.

2025 for the hybrid is a long time away
So we will see this "Tecnica" looking Urus in the coming months. This is the version without any power upgrades, with air suspension, the looks and tech similar to the Performante.
i am also quite sure this is the facelift .. and it will offer

  • a 25k lower baseprice
  • air suspension
  • a more modern look
  • only 16HP less

i would takes this over the performante any day, but i am quite certain if you order this car now, delivery will take a longer time than the performante.

For me it comes down to when it’s coming out and the interior Changes. The air suspension does get me. Curious how much they will change on the interior
If you want to save 25.000 Euro buy a Toyota. But don't forget, later you get more money for the car back.

The increase in value will be the Performante. Same at the Huracan line. The Performante will build just a small time period. So its limited in time. That's my opinion.

Bro, this is my 4th Lambo in 3 years, don't talk down to me.

It's the sum of things that i dislike and the way lambo is dealing with the Urus releases right now. I don't mind to pay more for a better car, but i do mind paying more and actually getting less !
Right now it seems the only thing the Urus Performante has going for itself is the name, nothing more.

It always seems like as soon as someone orders or owns a specific car, it HAS TO BE the best and they lose all objectivity.

I already ordered the Urus Performante, that doesn't mean i have to lie to myself ...

You're correct about delivery times. All the allocations my dealer is receiving for the refresh are spoken for, the issue with the Perf is they have no allocation information but my dealer reckons it'll be very limited.

Delta33, the Perf is basically the Escalade V. It'll be limited and highly sought after once the U goes hybrid.

Another thing my SA mentioned was the Perf's actual HP might be "understated" due to homologation. I think for China there's no HP bump (on paper) due to regulatory issues. Someone will need to dyno the Perf to see how much HP the Perf will pushing.

Btw, I'm going with the launch spec in yellow if I decide to order one. I saw it in person and it looks stunning.

And you actually believe some dealer tales that VW at this time will deliver cars with a higher performance and thus higher emissions then registered??
And why is everyone talking about a 'limited production' run on the Urus Performante? Dealers don't know anything yet, they haven't even received their allocations ... this is all just pure speculation for now.

BMW has understated HP numbers forever and the way around it is they will state the HP number for "unfavorable" conditions. Nothing illegal about it and it's well known HP numbers are lower for turbo engines. Not saying this is what Lambo has done but I think the U probably produces more HP.

And regarding allocations, usually dealers receive allocations about a month or two prior to the public launch. In June dealers were notified about the U Perf launching but there was no allocation info. As of today dealers in North America don't have any allocation info and according to my SA that usually means allocations will be very limited.

@Huracaan it’s funny you mention the yellow. I normally hate yellow cars. For some reason it looks awesome in yellow and it’s almost bothering me that I like it and I’m in debate!
Good points on the Escalade v. The only thing with the v is it still keeps the air suspension. That’s one the 3 things that keep me going back to the refresh model. 1-interior
2- air suspension
3- my terra Asia leather lol

I too am doing almost exactly the yellow launch model.
back and forth between Arancio Borealis and Giallo Inti.
I’m not mad at you fir copying me! 😎

I love Arancio Borealis in the urus. That was my favorite color in it until I saw the giallo. The verde is ok but not in love with it. I was gonna do balloon white but now I’m thinking it’s to tame
Giallo Auge might be an option as well and it's free. It's a darker yellow.
