Urus Delivery Time

Hi guys,

I placed an order for a viola parisfae urus a few weeks back with my dealer. Does anyone know the general delivery time for a urus specd with this color?

I’m hoping it’s not more than 7 months. If that’s the case I might just buy one that’s available now.

thanks!

Didn’t your dealer inform you?! They’d get a CP8 shortly after the order was placed.

Many factors in play. Pandemic lock downs, chip shortages, etc. No one really knows. Likely 7 months IF everything goes smoothly. Plus ordering now will definitely result in MY22.

I wasn’t told any specific time frame.

By CP8 do you mean the spec sheet that has the order number?
I'm in Canada and I was told 6-8 months.
Base color or ad personam?

CP8 is the build completion date. It’s on the order sheet from the factory (along with the build number).

looks like I don’t have that. Only order number and the spec information

I see. If it’s blank then that’s likely because the factory does not know the build date yet. Does it specify what MY? Usually, in a perfect world, just-in-time production, all the steps are known from the onset. But these days, nothing is certain. Especially, with ad personam color, they could hold those builds and do them all at the same time. MY changeover as well. I’m guessing you’re in for a long wait, unless told otherwise by your dealer.

It says model year 2021

I guess could be the tail end of the 21s. If I were going to order now, I’d be waiting for a 22. You’ll receive the 21 vehicle and it will (technically) be a year old within a matter of days, at least according to KBB. But maybe that doesn’t matter to you.

I spoke with Lamborghini St. Louis yesterday and was told now that the factory is climbing back to capacity, the wait time could be a little shorter. 6 months is probably the safe number for a special color like Viola Parsifae, but no one would be able to guarantee when exactly it can be delivered to you.

The problem with trying to buy one right now is that there really isn't any available, new or used. If you managed to find one, expect to pay up to $30k over sticker.
