***Underground Racing Twin Turbo Gallardo World Record VIDEO!!

Here is the Video of our first full build Twin Turbo Gallardo at the track. This was the first time at the track. We were only at around 800 ish RWHP. We got to the track at 10:00 and just had a one hour to make some shake down passes. We will be back soon to attempt passes at full boost.

Also we were on the continental tires.. No since in running a PS2's since we can not use them at the race this year in the street tire shootout.

Sounds easy doesn't it...

I'm amazed that the transmission that was built for 500hp is making 1000hp passes.

 

ive built several 1000hp cars and know it takes alil tuning to get it right. this track run has also been on the supra forums for a while, so im waiting for them to finish

the supra guys have any car doing anything fast posted first, i think its like a colt or something either way i want to see the progress good luck

 

first off i have a shop that does only lamborghini upgrades so i know what it takes, second you keep acting like im talking trash when im congrating him.
3rd dont talk to me that way for you have no idea what it takes to do this work.

 

any reason why yall chose to go with twins over a single app.???? what turbos, waste gate, injector size did you use.?

 

Guys let's not argue. There are tons of fast cars and there are a lot of people that work very hard for a living making cars fast. With that said, let's all try to get along and not start calling each other names. Make up and enjoy the holiday weekend in good health.

That was the first time at the track w/ that car. The first pass w/ a 10.5 and the second a 10.4. Yes the car should have a lot more in it as UR (Underground Racing) was limited w/ track time as it was late. Keep in mind that was on FULL street tires (Continental Sport Contact 2's).

This car is insane on the street. The guys from UR have built some of the baddest street cars out there and their workmanship is second to none. They work extremely well w/ their customers. I know first hand as I am one.

The guy was not freaking out. All he said was "Sounds easy doesn't it..."

The reason he said that is because it's very hard to take a car w/ full street tires into the 9's. If you do, that is an accomplishment. But this too is an accomplishment as it was on the first couple passes ever for this car. I don't know of any Lambo's running a better time at the track or they would be owning the record.

 

We took Kyle's car back to the track Sunday so we could make some passes with the power up around 1000 rwhp. Car did great with only a 1.89 60ft! We are still on the factory spec tires. I think a 9 would be no problem on some PS2's but we are going to try and get there with the factory spec regular street tire. Those are the tires that have to be used to compete in the street tire shootout in Florida. Can not run PS2's in the shootout.

Lol after seeing this I was about to share it over here to, kudos to you guys for pushing the envelope.

 

Underground Racing Twin Turbo Gallardo Nera "R" Version "pictures"

Track testing coming soon.

This R version has the FULL Motec ECU. We have full control of the engine management on this set up and most important we control the Camshafts and throttle bodies. The throttle response is UNBELIVEBLE! Being able to control the advance on the camshafts we were able to pick up almost 100 WHP under the curve VS or NON Motec "R" version! On race gas we are over 1300 WHP and plenty left in it to make more if we need it. On "93 oct" pump we made 900 WHP "NO ICE" We also have the new billet gear upgrade in this Nera!

We are hoping to make it to the Runway event if we can to get some testing done.

You need to develop a clear polycarbonate center for the bumper on these Gallardos to expose all of this incredible plumbing. I'm dead serious.

That is just the sickest work.

 

I need to make more money haha.
