Long talked about but here it is officially:
There will be a run-up in price for exotics in the UK, and under a Biden-Harris ticket probably in the US as well. Get 'em while they are hot.

And the ignorance continues. Has any of these dipsh#$s been to China , India or rest of the third world. We need to deal with the massive pollutors before we outlaw the cleanest cars in the world. They have vehicles spewing out over 100 times the pollution per engine of ours. If no one has checked lately, the air circles the globe.

On the other hand for all you speed freaks out there that think horsepower must keep increasing, (dumb IMO) you should rejoice. How fast can an electric car be? Flip of a switch fast. Yawn!

And unicorn dreams and rainbow dust! Oh, the wonderful utopia that awaits us when all the evil polluting 12 cylinder engines are banned!
Governments will wish for Dino fuel when the real evil of electric powered cars rears the real dangers to the environment

No, they won’t, they will have moved on to the latest way to control the populous. It will be the latest shiny object in their ideological battle with individuals’ freedom from government control. It’s not now nor ever was about the environment; it has always been about the government elitists controlling people’s lives.

I spent around 6 months in China about a year ago and actually they're massively ahead of UK/US in electric car usage from what I saw. Then I landed in Bangkok a couple of months later and the streets were loud as hell which shows a stark difference in combustion vs electric usage.

Think it's totally different to how it's portrayed in the media.

Politics and smart are apparently mutually exclusive. Look at Biden, he now has the nuclear codes and at the same time struggles to formulate a coherent sentence. We elect these rocket scientists.........

And where do all the bad batteries go? Do those simply dissolve into flowers?
And mining raw materials for lithium-ion batteries is anything but green. Filthy process, child labor, etc.

People love to be perceived as virtuous - but the sum of the parts doesn't add up for me.

I like technology as much as the next guy, but cannot stand being told what choice I am required to make. Give me freedom or give me death...also give me a screaming V10 (and hold the soundless electric motor).

Amen Grasshopper. Reality plays no role in the minds of the pseudo eco minded crowd. Intellix , I dont know where you stayed in China but it must not have been Bejing or Shanghi. I have seen pollution there so bad you cannot see across the street.(Multiple times) I agree Bangkok is loud and smoky. Many of the tuk-tuks(Among other things) put out huge amounts of pollution. All the factories I have visited in China had a blatant disregard for the environment. It is more the norm than the exception.
