what are you guys using for tools. I have a mix - mostly old craftsman, with some junk. I want snap-on, but very pricey.

has anyone tried Wurth tools? I love their seal sealer and their underbody products. Everything they make seems high quality, and now they have tools with a lifetime warranty. And its German.

I have a mix of tools, too. Snap-on for tools that I frequently use and need to be reliable, i.e., sockets, pick set, some specialty wrenches. I also spent more for screwdrivers as they're MAC and need not round off when in the middle of a project. The rest are Craftsman or Kobalt, or some decent company that offers a local replacement warranty. As stated above, the occasional items (pullers, drum brake tools, extensions) are cheaply found and replaced at Harbor Freight.

Spending more for really good hand tools pays off, IMO. My sockets & screwdrivers are from 1992. Watch CL and eBay for deals on Snap-on, MAC, and Matco. Found my radio removal tools and weather stripping/seal tools on Amazon.

I have so much tools I every now and then find ones I did know I own. Old Wurth tools are made by Facom, but these days they come from far east.
Tools in your car tool pouch are Italian brand USAG, now owned by Facom.
New Lamborghinis came with Stahlwille -tools.

My advise is to choose ones that fit your hand and not to think about brand so much.
