They'll switch because of the looks and performance.

Outside of the bubble we have this forum I haven't met many H owners in real life that are hell bent about the V10, most owners are new money and just want a Lambo. They also want the least and greatest and for most of these owners the AVR will be unattainable so they'll buy the H replacement.
If so… good for us that want to buy v10

Latest update...

"Rumors hold that the follow up to the Huracán, which is more compact and less expensive than the Aventador, will be a V8 hybrid, which is a smaller engine than the current V10. Whether or not the whispers are true, Lamborghini isn’t yet willing to say. It’s too soon to talk about that, Winkelmann told PopSci."

Could be a version of Porsche’s LK5 engine the U hybrid is rumoured to be getting.

It's bizarre Winkelmann won't come out and say what engine the H replacement is getting and I can't imagine this late in the game a decision hasn't been made.

Is the LK5 the same 4.0L v8 unit one found in RS6/7 just with no hybridization?

Yeah I agree I see no point of hiding the engine info since its been known internally for awhile now.

I was at the Lambo Sterrato launch event in December and spoke to the tach and design teams from the factory.
They confirmed that this Huracan is the last of the V10’s and the replacement will be a V8 Hybrid.

They were advising me to keep hold of my Tecnica as it will be one last V10 in a Lambo.

They also said regulations are getting tougher which means the cars will get quieter down the line. That’s what they are trying to bend the rules by keeping the exhaust valves closed on low revs and open them up on high revs. Credit to them for trying to keep the emotion alive with these regs.

I also hearing that the new Urus will also be a V8 hybrid.

Kind of a relief. I always upgrade my exotics every few years. I’ve kept my 580-2 for 4 years waiting for my Tecnica allocation and haven’t got bored yet. Maybe my T will be a keeper and I won’t have to worry about always getting the shiny new toy. I bailed on Ferrari after I heard the 488 IRL which sounds and looks like ass.
