This is interesting from an article just published at end of November:

Speaking to CarExpert at the opening of the revised Lamborghini dealership in Brisbane this week, the brand’s regional director of Asia Pacific, Francesco Scardaoni, confirmed the new powertrain will be hybrid and may have inadvertently admitted that it will also be a V10.
“That will be a new V10, the new Huracan, up to now we can not disclose what engine will be fit to the car. But it will be a hybrid. Because our hybridisation phase, the Huracan will be 2024 where we will release the hybrid version of the new Huracan, mid 24, we will release the new car.”
The most exciting news for Lamborghini fans, apart from the possibility of the V10 living on in hybrid form, is that the new Italian supercar will not share its heart with an Audi, as was the case with the Huracan and R8.

It's not out of reach of it debuting at Quail 2024.

I hope it's more fresh take on the design, rather than Sian or A replacement downsized/copy-paste.

Some very old renders, what I'm hoping for.

I think the yellow car was a rendering for the Huracan when they were guessing what the successor to the Gallardo was going to look like. Whatever the case, I personally think Lamborghini needs to keep the fat/tall rear end profile. Almost like as a driver you are sitting much lower then the rear end of the car and exaggerate that more. Just looks so mean and aggressive.

Now that the C8 E-Ray has been shown, and the performance numbers known, I REALLY hope Lamborghini plans to keep a V10 in the successor, to really set it apart. Otherwise it's going to be interesting comparing it to the Hybrid V8 E- Ray, with it's 2.5 0-60, 10.5 1/4 mile time, and optional hard top convertible.
Not to mention you could buy three, each in a different color, for likely the price of the replacement….lol.

All these hybrid cars are coming out with these crazy performance numbers

It likely debuts at Quail next year. Mitja has definitely done some sketches and even clay models with the team for Lambo8888 to see.

I personally think it will have proper headlights, rather than whatever front Terzo Millennio had.
I think it will have the “Y” style taillights to mimic the “Y” style front LED lights that everyone pretty much agrees the front end will have.

Exactly...If it was going to be a NA V10 hybrid I would be almost forced to upgrade but there's no way I would trade an NA V10 for V8TT...otherwise I would have went for a 720S, F8 or MC20 in the first place...
I'm committed to a Huracan so for my bank accounts sake I hope it's a V8TT...:geek:
Its going to be a TT V8 with subdued exhaust notes. No worries

Judging by the fact that Ferrari already sold out of the 296GTB/GTS I don’t think Lambo will have to worry about it. And that’s a V6 Ferrari! People who wants the latest toy will flock to it. And then there are the people like H owners and 458/488/f8 owners who will hold onto their cars.
And the 296 is ugly. I hate how some manufactures go electric and then let everyone know by trying to make the cars look more futuristic by sort of going more odd/curvy and less “badass” if you know what I mean. You should never look at a supercar and get the impression that the car is happy and smiling back at you. I hope Lamborghini doesn’t do this.

It would be very hard for a 4.0L V8 NA to deliver more than the current 630 - 640HP before adding electrification.

The same 4.0L that AUDI, Porsche and Lambo use
Its going to be interesting. The new Corvette E-Ray does 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and costs $100k. The new H replacement will likely be $200k+ more than a Corvette. Lamborghini is going to have to make something really special now to compete with the performance numbers of this new market of electric and hybrid cars. A supercar is suppose to be a car that can achieve performance stats that other cheaper cars could not achieve. This is why its a supercar. What is the definition of a supercar now? Is it just the name brand and maybe a different, more exotic look? It sucks, and is all going to get just crazy.

i guess the e-motor will be the same as the AVR, so around 200hp. so together with the ~600hp V8TT i guess we will get a 800+hp strong huracan successor with capabilities of up to 900hp or more .. but they still have to leave a big enough gap to the AVR ...

A NAV10 with 640hp + the ~200hp e-motor would have been perfect 😢
Yes, its been thrown around here for some time that the H replacement should be about 800hp. 0-60 times should be around 2.5 seconds. No idea what it will sound like though. Definitely cant sound like the NA V10

I wont be surprised
Would be awesome, but after considering all that has been said I give it a 15% chance. Wish they would just screw what the world says they are “suppose” to do and stick with the V10. It’s honestly 50%, if not more, the reason we all love the Huracan. Two of the best sounding cars on the planet are the Huracan and the LFA. And guess what, both V10s!

I can confirm. Either sold out, or so far out for the rest of us so as to be almost irrelevant. Mine is at least 2 years away, and a lot can happen between now and then.

I initially hesitated about placing an order - shame on me - but I wanted the opportunity to drive one (I finally have) and I didn’t want to be the beta tester for a hybrid with a big, expensive battery.

No regrets, if one finds its way into my garage, great. If not, I’m not going to cry about it
Only reason to cry about the 296 is about how it looks…lol
