Owned my 2011 LP560 - 4 for about 5 years, always sat bang on 90 degrees.

Started rising lately, turned out to be a slight leak in the expansion tank, got this replaced, all bleed up, ran several times and no leaks or having to top up the coolant.

However my temp now rises to 95 sometimes just shy of 100, I know my car, and it never goes above 90. Tried bleeding it but seems fine, I have now ordered a new cap (Like ÂŁ130), so waiting on that arriving to try that.

I'm in Scotland, and like I say, never ever went above 90, even on hot days or in traffic.

If the new cap doesn't solve it, what's next best thing to try?

On another note I also got my air con compressor replaced, now my cars air con is perfect from passengers side only, all 3 middle fans and drivers side blowing hot, I'm guessing its a potential strip of dash to fix or replace the actuators which I'm guessing is the issue?

Ps - Almost every summer I've had this car, its been in the garage with something, is this just my luck or is the car just getting to this age? 40k miles, had an issue with a water leak before, had a small oil leak from a pipe, epc light coming on due to faulty wiring, all seem fairly straight forward but labour intensified jobs and the cars away for a few weeks at a time.

Full service, mot, air compressor for air con changed, epc light cabling fixed & expansion tank replaced, all this total ÂŁ3000 recently.

Now on the odd occasion as well, on start up, nothing, then it starts second time, clocks resets etc, got a new battery a few months back, so need to check this isn't faulty & then check grounding wires... just one thing after another instead of enjoying the car, especially after paying that bill, ive taken the car back to get some driving done before the cold weather, but needs to go back in for these issues and more cost.

Thanks.
