Summarised:

• STO was the first Huracan with closed exhaust valves in every mode between 1.000 - 4.500 RPM, every STO has this "issue", even MY22
• Starting with MY23 (built after 08/22) the whole Huracan Series has closed exhaust valves between 1.000 - 4.500 RPM, in every mode (even Sport & Corsa)
• Rev Limiters are different for each market and don't have anything to do with closed exhaust valves, it's not related
• There is no Rev-Limiter for EU Huracans at all
• There is a Rev Limiter for other markets, even with older Huracans (before MY23)

Models which are produced second half of 2022 are restricted with closed valves until 4-5000 rphm(Evo,Tecnica).They all comes out with different soft from the factory . Model Year 22 which was produced end of 2021 was not restricted yet(had only rev limiter for certain markets)(untill the spring 2022)

I think it was on 2017 Huracan's where they lessened exhaust sound by reducing the pops and crackles. Then people started bringing in their 2015's and16's for their annual service and when they got car back noticed car was quiter. So looks like a software download was done, then people asked if they could refuse it and were told it would effect warranty. Wasnt an issue for me since I had a big supercharger on top of engine so warranty was shot so didnt let them do that or any other updates since would have messed with VF Tune for supercharger

Same here, best was on my 2015 then 2020 a little less. Then my friend got his 2022 and we went out for a ride together and my 2020 was much better than his. So I knew before my 2022 even arrived it would not sound as good. It's mostly because they lowered the threshold where pops & crackles cut out. On my 2020 I would monitor cat temp and it was around 1,500f where they would stop

Yes,this is different soft to restrict the noise of the exhaust system when valves are closed until 4-5000rphm,which actually comes from the factory in all Evo's after second half of 2022.About Huracan lp610-4,580 Model Years 2017-2018 only the stock exhaust was significant quieter,if you upgrade to Race factory exhaust there's no difference compared to Huracan MY 2015 Race ex. system.But I will share very interesting video from China - Evo with OPF against other car without, because all Huracans in China are equipped with filters

My 22 EVO is like yours and was built in May 22. Guess we got in just in time!

Once the car is out of warranty or before if it's something you are willing to do just mod it to fix these issues. First that every owner needs to do is install a valve controller right away when they get car, a quick and easy 30 minute mod that you could remove before bringing in for service. That solves one of the biggest issues right now since none of our cars have the GPF. Then a simple tune could remove the rev limiter and and also bring exhaust sound back to the way it was

Yes,you can do some tune, but on a brand new car,the warranty is at risk.It also depends on how long you will keep the car, because people run away from mods and non valid warranty when you want to sell it.

I'm getting my Tecnica in a couple weeks and was thinking about adding Novitec's valve-less titanium exhaust. Has anyone heard this exhaust or anything about it?
To me having exhaust that doesn't open up until 4000 rpms is crap!

You don’t need it. You can pull the hoses and the valves stay open.… or so I have heard.

Novitec just released a video on Tecnica. Check it out. Sounds pretty dam good.

Yep, My Evo sounds as good as that Novitec. I have always changed exhausts on my cars, did put a Fabspeed on my 2015 but then realized on my 2020 and 22 stock sounds as good as an aftermarket. So just mod to keep exhausts open, I would go with valve controller. The other thing you can do to make new cars sound better is to tune to keep the pops and crackles from cutting out so much
