Tecnica market value

Anyone have a good idea what these will be going for on the secondary market? I'm seeing "new" RWD Evo coupes going for $300-320k so I'm thinking $310k-$330k?

The Porsche dealers are out of control…i feel you.
^^^ Agree…
I don’t post much because this forum has become the new Rennlist. It’s ridiculous how many new and prospective owners want to drink the Kool Aid, only concerned about resale and/or future value. These Posters aren’t car guys!

I ordered my car because I want to enjoy it. Resale/value be damned. A car is not an investment! If you’re worried about stupid resale/value then go elsewhere.

It’s the same stupid sh!t I had/have to deal with Porsche and the GT3/GT3 RS! I wanted a 991.2 GT3 RS and now a 992.1 GT3 RS, coming from a 991.1 GT3, but I refused to play their stupid/ridiculous/silly sales gimmicks!

Thanks for letting me vent, lol…
Cheers/B
I migrated from the Rennlist community and really enjoyed the Porsche experience but when I got slammed with a fat ADM request for a 992 GT3... I went for a Huracan. Since I now live in Arizona and don't track my cars I'm really happy with Spyder purchase as I feel its the perfect street car. I'd love to get back into a Porsche GT3/GT4 but I'm not playing their games. I'll hopefully get a C8Z when my allocation comes up next year and it should be a blast! The Rennlist community was pretty entertaining with the "value" threads. The second people used to post up a value thread, we'd reply with pics of our dogs. Maybe I'll start that trend in this forum haha.

…This said car at Lambo Vegas that's 40k under MSRP has a nasty interior… View attachment 321888
Must be the only one to think it looks okay, but probably not a widely appealing spec for a Lambo, hence the price.

It’s not bad….
There is so much **** misinformation here.

Evo was not discounted at all last year. There was so few delivery it’s not even close to meeting demands. My dealer has a list of 40+ people wanting evo and tecnica and about 15 for STO and they stopped taking deposits on all cars because the factory is sold out til 2024.

Stop spreading misinformation.
Tecnica wasn’t even a thing in 2021, sorry your dealer didn’t offer discounts? Many gave 1-2% or free accessories.

Amazing how many people have their panties in a bunch and think they’re mass produced car is a treasure chest. Every car was overpriced in the market including Toyotas and Hondas, Lamborghini wasn’t special just free money, low supply, and high demand.

In the history of Lamborghini, prices were never like this. Only cars ever to command a premium were GT3 / RS cars and special edition Ferraris. Heck SVJs were under MSRP until the crazy market happened. Then it was a million dollar car and now it’s free falling. I do love how some the loudest voices are those who get the ENTRY level RWD Lamborghini, but each to their own. Hope your RWD EVO is 300k+ in 2 years, promise you it won’t though. At least the 144 month finance note will still collect the interest.

I ordered January 2021 at 5.5% off MSRP which was historically the norm from my research on this forum. I was interested in only an AWD or RWD loaded Spyder and they only had allocations of RWD, so I went down that path and absolutely love it. Aesthetically I prefer the RWD and at $280k MSRP, it’s a great value. Did I finance 50% at under 3%, yes…which I should have done 100% and bought some treasuries as an arbitrage. I’ve never had an auto loan but my dealer wanted me to finance since I got the MSRP discount.

I sense that you don’t own a Lamborghini and you’re really frustrated with the high premium they’re commanding in the market. I also sense that you missed the asset/equity appreciation of 2020+, which must be frustrating. My heart goes out to you. Like we’ve all posted here, we expected to buy a car that depreciates, which they haven’t yet. Within time they will as Powell will get his way. You act like many here don’t understand economics but you’re likely still in high school and getting through some basics.

Hopefully prices come back to the historical mean and you’re able to afford the used Lamborghini of your dreams!

There's really no need to get into argument or insults over luxuries. There're plenty of unfortunate poor people out there. With nothing to eat or roof over their head. Be happy with what we have. Life is short and life goes on despite the ups and downs. Have fun & make friends. Cheers & Christmas is coming soon!

I agree Sakura ☺

I see you’re from Japan, I’ve been there just under 60 times, which all have been prior to 2020. I look forward to getting back there with my family since my wife’s never been. It’s such a beautiful country, the best food and nicest people. I’ll likely get back to Tokyo and Kyoto.

Appreciate the transparency and your kind response… Frankly, my message was not directed at you, I’ve just seen soooo many of these value threads/posts and I just needed to vent. My apologies for that! Welcome to the forum.
Carry on, sir.
Best/Cheers,
B
If that's how you feel, I'd caution you from continuing to visit the "Anything Value Related" section, as you're not likely to find anything other than threads that frustrate you.

Lmao, well put!
Early 2021 there were discounts to be had. I’d say around July or August that wasn’t the case anymore.

The market currently is not free falling on Huracans, however , would love to see links to svj in a nose dive. I personally am a buyer for the svj at a reasonable price.

I was lucky enough to get an allocation for the new 2023 Corolla Hybrid SE for MSRP lol, dealers out in AZ/CA are charting $5-10k in ADM/Dealer add-ons for a vehicle that's $26k! I'm also #1 on their list for the incoming new Prius at MSRP, it's such a joke you have to play these games with Toyota dealers to get them at sticker but this is the new world we live in.

Hold on, I thought discounts were unheard of and I’m spreading misinformation.

So many people here are first time buyers and seems like you were part of that crowd too with that finance note yikes. Probably should get your finances in order before you lecture others.

Regardless, hope you enjoy your car for another 10 years since I’m guessing you don’t really rotate exotics and are the type to put 1k miles on a year. Cheers pal!

That is accurate. I picked up a 610 and by December it was up 40k… whatever who cares right.. I checked on Svj as well… nothing close to sticker.. the highest sticker I saw On on was my buddies Roadster at $704k or so. He paid under sticker at the time .. Nothing even close to that online for sale and at this point they are 2 years old.

I was a dreamer like you for years til i made it a reality. I migrated from the Porsche world when they said a 992 GT3 had $50k+ ADM’s. I’ll hold this Huracan for years to come for my street car and add a C8Z06 Z07 for track use. For a street car, i can’t see myself needing anything more than the Huracan Spyder but who knows what the next gen will offer. I have plenty of miles on my cars, I don’t save them for the next guy and they all get track or canyon use. The is my first auto loan and at 2.8% 60 month, being far under inflation and treasury notes, it’s good debt to have in my humble opinion. * not financial advice *

It's been discussed in another thread about the Huracan replacement the Tecnica with modest options is $330-350k while you compare that to a RWD with modest options, around $260k. You know the Huracan replacement if it has a bespoke motor will be massive investment for Lamborghini and it'll easily be $350-400k with options, just look at the Artura and 296's with options. This price bump will help insulate the depreciation of the RWD models but still, like everything, they'll depreciate. I'm more worried about my real estate and equites in the near term that my Huracan's value!

If you're stressing about your cars resale value... you probably aren't allocated well with your assets. @TecnicaVroomVroom

My buddy just sold his 991.2 GT3 on BAT, $30k over MSRP! I thought the sky was falling?!?!

Glad that you enjoyed your stay! That sakura shrimps tempura soba looks very yummy. The place that I live is famous for that little tasty shrimps. It is one of my favorites and I try to eat that every week.

The Yen is pretty cheap nowadays (like 30% disc) so maybe a good time for another visit! :)

My Tecnica order (NOT allocation) was accepted last April with a $35k ADM on the sales order. I just picked up my GT3 Touring at MSRP. With the market looking the way it does now I’m second guessing paying that ADM if and when my allocation comes up.
