Tecnica market value

Anyone have a good idea what these will be going for on the secondary market? I'm seeing "new" RWD Evo coupes going for $300-320k so I'm thinking $310k-$330k?

I've always looked at this way. Once I've made the conscious decision to buy then I go ahead and buy. I would rather spend my time enjoying a vehicle instead of worrying about when is the best time to buy and/or having to wait. I could get hit by a bus tomorrow. I'm also a firm believer in maximizing mileage and driving the car at every available opportunity. Hence, I've put 12k miles on my Huracan in 16 months.
Totally agree. Life is too short to worrying about it. If slot is available at good price, I'll buy. If not, pass.
These will be under MSRP in no time. R8 is MSRP for new 2023 on the lot cars, used ones are coming back to MSRP, Huracans are dropping insane. Heck Lamborghini Vegas has a great EVO AWD with 3k miles sitting at 278k for months now and that’s already 40k under MSRP.
Not that many people like subtle silver Lambos and even less people want the interior color of a Ford F250 King Ranch. Combine both and good luck.
when are you jumping in ? It beats me why people hang around on car forums and always talking about values . It seems the ones on the sidelines are just trying to poke people who actually own these cars . It’s actually pretty disturbing behavior.
Beats me why people cry about threads instead of simply ignore them if you don’t like the thread topic at hand?

Question was simple, is the Tecnica going to somehow be worth all this extra money for resale, no it won’t. As for cars I own, I’ve been a customer since 2004 with my Gallardo, then LP560, then I got my Huracan in 2014, and currently I have a deposit down on the Tecnica and Huracan replacement along with a Urus Perf which has been allocated.

None of those cars will be worth more than MSRP within the next 1-2 years, simple as that.

Rennlist nerds have the same reality hitting them over their 992 GT3 cars. Same story happened on the 991.1/2 cars which all ended up well below MSRP before the free money printer hit. I’d love to continue getting 6–7 figure loans with 0% interest, but that is over.

that is the typical answer / remark for people on the sidelines who are very lonely in real life and have no one who will actually pay attention to them in real life.

they try to pollute social media with half truths , try to create controversy , try to get a rise out of people and just plain out troll . The only people who agree with your type are the exact same type as you .

your Response is typical of people who have little to no credibility . It is very easy to see for people who are on the playing field doing their thing …. Unfortunately, the trolls sometimes trap the innocent people and get influenced with this constant unchecked yapping .

the sideline type are always trying to win the internet argument 🤷‍♂️

LOL F250 King Ranch. I couldn't place it before, but now that's all I can see.
I'm tempted to start a thread 992 GT3 market value on rennlist and see how the thread goes 🤡
I'm getting my T for MSRP it's written in the signed contract. I would not pay over for it. I have a 580-2 I love to death I've put over 10000 miles of semi-daily driving for the past 3 years that I will continue to enjoy until my T arrives. The General Manager did tell me where my place in line is and 99% assured me I would get a T but it might be end of 2023 which is not a big deal there's only been 1 T allocation at my dealer so far.

I look at the purchase price of an exotic as a sunk cost. Changing cars is cheaper than changing wives. One can't put on a price on the maintenance of my Mental Health but I'd certainly rather drive my Huracan than see a Therapist.

Haha I like your thinking. When I asked my sales rep what place in line I was and he said he didn't know. I was like WTF? How do they know who to call when their next allocation comes in if they don't have their customers lined up??

The only used cars with insane markups are dealers who are underwater on their cars and don’t want to take a hit yet. Same way the G wagon market is over, that east coast dealer is sitting in 40+ used ones afraid to take the 2+ mil hit.

Last year you could get an EVO with 1-2% discount, this year was madness and now we are coming back to reality. You might score a profit if your can flip it Q1 2023, but if you car is late 2023, no one will pay 350k when the hybrid is out and demolishes it.
What a bunch of FUD! This said car at Lambo Vegas that's 40k under MSRP has a nasty interior. Try finding a nice spec'd EVO Coupe or Spyder under MSRP, for a nicely spec'd car any skittles color, carbon seats, CCB's etc. If you want a stripper EVO in a free color you might find one under MSRP but if you own a nicely spec'd EVO, it'll hold up just fine. Most of us ordered new at or under MSRP. We didn't expect our cars to appreciate so I welcome them going back to a normal depreciation curve but if you're stressing about 10-20k in your cars value, you probably shouldn't have "invested" in one.

I had spec'd out a RWD EVO for $250k MSRP, then got switched to a Tecnica, which ended up at $252k MSRP. The Evo was lower base price, but I had to add quite a few options to get it similarly spec'd to a Tecnica. But you do have a good point, some EVO RWD were probably $230k MSRP.
Please share that spec… lol.

@TecnicaVroomVroom For additional context, here are the cheapest EVO Spyder's in the US right now that don't have a salvage title. I'd love to hear what assets and equities are doing better now vs. this time last year? We're likely going into a recession next year, we all know the asset bubble is behind us. The fed is trying to push the broader market back to normalization.

$230k is a stripper! Free paint, sofa seats, 19's, steel rotors, no front lift, no magna-ride... at this point by buy the Huracan, just buy a nicely spec'd 991.2 GT3 or C8 Z06

230k MSRP EVO? You will be hard pressed to find cars that poorly specced. I would venture to guess the average EVO msrp is around 250-260k.

Pure speculation on your part . End of 2023 we will not have the replacement and as long as the order books stay full, the newer cars will demand a premium. Huracans are not dropping insane, at least not across the board. I just sold my 2022 for $50k over and it sold pretty quick. Tecnica and EVO RWD cars will sell for a lot because they are relatively low MSRP cars. I bet early cars through May or June perhaps longer sell for 100k over.

That's the whole problem, I have no idea if I have a legit chance at an MSRP allocation. The dealer won't tell me what my place in line is/how many people are ahead of me/etc.... I just told them I'm not interested in paying over MSRP today so I'm waiting to see what they do next. In the mean time, I have a 2015 that I'm enjoying immensely.
Enjoy your 2015 until they tell you they can produce on at MSRP.. no one here has a Crystal ball.. they might be above msrp they might not. No one can tell. Right now there is a long wait…. Not a lot of cars being released.. if you get one enjoy it and hopefully you can sell it with little loss. And if not you had a lot of fun.

And it’s a 2 year old car for like $30k under msrp .. so if you bought it you lost less then 10%. Try that with a Mercedes SClass ..

I love the people that think they can spread FUD about the sky falling on the Huracan prices like they're going to affect the market. Most of them will keep dreaming of driving one, while we'll keep enjoying our cars. Now if we get a deep recession in the next few years, supercar prices will follow equities just like they always have, it's not that complicated. Anyone buying a car like this likely understands economics and the money supply.

I’m hoping Rich will get some allocations soon. I think yours is a given, but my STO might not be so lucky? He says there’s still hope.

^^^ Agree…
I don’t post much because this forum has become the new Rennlist. It’s ridiculous how many new and prospective owners want to drink the Kool Aid, only concerned about resale and/or future value. These Posters aren’t car guys!

I ordered my car because I want to enjoy it. Resale/value be damned. A car is not an investment! If you’re worried about stupid resale/value then go elsewhere.

It’s the same stupid sh!t I had/have to deal with Porsche and the GT3/GT3 RS! I wanted a 991.2 GT3 RS and now a 992.1 GT3 RS, coming from a 991.1 GT3, but I refused to play their stupid/ridiculous/silly sales gimmicks!

Thanks for letting me vent, lol…
Cheers/B
The Porsche dealers are out of control…i feel you.

There is so much **** misinformation here.

Evo was not discounted at all last year. There was so few delivery it’s not even close to meeting demands. My dealer has a list of 40+ people wanting evo and tecnica and about 15 for STO and they stopped taking deposits on all cars because the factory is sold out til 2024.

Stop spreading misinformation.
