I get it, I pulled it off 2 years ago on another high-end in demand vehicle and the dealer let it go through surprisingly, especially since the price got locked at about a 20% discount from sticker and the vehicle was pulling in about 15% over sticker at that time. We got lucky but there is more than one way to skin a cat and we are willing to work with anybody and the dealer in getting the deal done.I don't know if this will fly as dealers control the actual allocation, not the individual. Mercedes Sprinter Revel. Price got locked in sometime in 2019. As you know Covid made these vans go sky high. We got locked in at $125k by buying a spot as the vehicle was being delivered August 2020. Original buyer had buyers remorse. At that time the dealer could have sold for around $190-200k as it ramping up from covid. Sticker was around $160k.What car was this that you were buying at 20% off sticker?

Yeah it was a smoking deal. We are not expecting that on this, we are willing to pay premium to the seller and reasonable ADM, even though we don't want to.Pretty crazy at 20% off...awesome
The Revel was a great deal and it worked, so I would be curious if we could make it work here too.
Otherwise we will get in line with the rest of the plebs.

Got offered a guaranteed early allocation for an ungodly amount of money. Probably going to pass on it.
We picked up a 22 Evo with 60 miles on it today so that will tide us over until our Tecnica arrives...or it doesn't.

if you try to sell your allocation, not only will the dealer kick you off and move down the list, you will also lose your deposit ($10- $30K) if the order has already been uploaded to Lamborghini
This has to do entirely with your relatinship with the dealer.
