In case you missed it, this weekend Daily Driven Exotics (DDE) unveiled their latest tire slaying supercar, a VF Engineering supercharged Lamborghini Huracan EVO "Aperta".

Aperta - Italian for "open" - is a reference to the unique (one-off) entirely open cockpit design of this windshield-less EVO Spyder.

No doubt, the driving experience for the pilot and passenger will be truly next level with unobstructed 360-degree pillarless visibility. Packing an even more exhilarating punch to this rear-wheel-drive supercar is the VF Engineering Hypercharger System which increases power from the factory 602 horsepower and 413 ft. lbs. of torque to over 840 horsepower and 620 ft. lbs. of torque.

Damon and the DDE crew are no strangers to the benefits of instant torque and the wide range of usable power across the entire rev range as this will be their THIRD supercharged V10 - ultimately chosen for this project based on the proven turn-key installation and performance, as well as the unparalleled reliability for the type of use (and abuse) that the latest TIRE SLAYER is sure to see.

Nah.... Sorry just don't see the point in no windshield, what a HORRIBLY miserable drive that would be, why the hell add 870HP to rip your face off with? Plan on it being a helmet car? Just, no...

Funny the name of the company, Dialy Driven Exotics. A windshield-less car is far from a "Daily Driver Exotic"

I appreciate the DDE enthusiasm, and their creativity in the cars they build/drive. But, their styling and color choices are beyond me to say the least.
