Any owner found the STO refused to down shift when you drive casually and decided to accelerate suddenly?

I got 5802 spyder / 6404 spyder before with over 8000km driving time, when i did the same in Performante it response directly.

However when i drive the STO, i press the down shift, nothing happen, gear didnt shift down in some cases…

In automatic mode yes. You have to shift for it. I think because of sound and emission rules the auto mode is terrible. I have to assist the down shifts when I am casually driving in auto mode - and use the paddles.

This is something we have seen on STOs, 2022 EVOs, and 2022 R8s. In their respective automatic driving modes (Comfort, Strada, STO), they gearbox is inclined to upshift very quickly and then hesitate to downshift when you put your foot down.

Thankfully, it is fixable with tuning software or you can manually shift like @Free2Speed mentioned.
