I live in STL and used to frequent that dealer until I began working at Exotic Motors Midwest. As far as I know, they are very good, although their best salesman now runs the dealer I work at. The car has been around for a while though...It has been in the showroom since September, no idea why. It looked in nice condition. I heard that some people have issues with their service dept. though...so you may want to look into that.
Dude, don't worry about how long a car has sat there. All you need is a good PPI to look the car over and THAT is what you go by.
Perfectly fine cars sit for long periods all the time. Just a small example, there's a brand-spanking new orange 570 SL that's been at our local Lambo dealer since last Summer! Nothing whatsoever wrong with the car. Somebody just hasn't snatched it up yet. No biggie. Plus, it probably gives you some negotiating room on the price if it's been sitting there.
I would recomedn them with out a second thought. I have dealt with them a few times and have always been very straight forward and honest transactions.
Of course I would not being doing my job if I dod not offer you my 2008 RARE 6 speed car for $134,000
Thanks for quick feedback. Im not so much concerned about how long they've had it. Was more thinking that others have shopped it (in person) and stayed away for one reason or another. This will be my first time buying sight unseen.
I believe I may have a start up and acceleration video of it..I'll check and if I do, ill post it. If you do need me to go check it over, we can figure that out
Videos are uploading now and once processed and put together, I should have it posted for you by tonight. It was several clips from being moved around. Start, acceleration, etc. I am 90% sure it is the same car..Stay tuned!
