Probably a dumb question:confused: but has anyone tried putting 'window' in their Spyder's hood. Yes the engine is mostly covered by the convertible top but still....

Doesn't seem like it would be worth it, all you would see are the air filters and the metal bin that holds the top.

The Hood is in the front, bonnet or deck lid is in the rear. This Defintiely would never work as the active spoiler motor system would get in the way and the sheer weight of the glass would inhibit the tops operation.

Note: the rear deck is made if carbon fiber for weight savings and less stressful on the working parts of the rear motor assembly.

get a body shop to cut out the small fins in the back and put a custom light plexi glass there instead . :eek:

That is a better idea for sure, but then again what will you see, nothing exciting under the glass.
