This is definitely a possibility. Side doors are a must. My GT2 suffered with same issue. I watched the guy climb into the car like a gymnast. Def seat compression with feet happening.
From the pictures you can see its a symmetrical issue with the V shaped leather insert, its a factory issue but if I saw someone standing on my seats, I'd drop kick them

I had a horrible time trying to get in my car when it was still in the container. I climbed through the window and barely made it. I wondered how in the world did the guy that put it in there get out?

Very interested to see what the outcome will be and whether or not Lambo will step up and replace the seat.
I provided all the information with images to the dealership and Lamborghini customer service on Thursday, I'll give it one week before I ping them again. I'll take nothing less than replacing the drivers seat bottom. On the high end, replacing both seats with the alcantara center sections because I'm a bit skeptical of their leather quality and longevity but this is a big ask.

@kotykb, that's the spirit, never say die?
I'm a very fair individual and we'll be Lamborghini repeat customers for a long time to come, I know they'll make right on this. I'm even happy to give them some free quality consulting on a few things they need to improve upon. One item they could easily make is a thermoformed plastic shell with foam padding on both sides, this would match the geometry of the driver seat bottom and prevent any damage during transportation. This sheet of plastic/foam might cost $5 an ensure the seats are pristine upon delivery. I'm not sure if many owners have the same attention to detail but likely many do when spending this much on a car. Its the little things that matter, us owners want to be the first one to break in the car, not the delivery drivers

I would be quite amazed if they don't make this right. I am very impressed with how they helped me out and did so without any hassles.

Lamborghini feels like a small mom n pop business with a relatively small community of the enthusiasts that love the car. These are the individuals that they want representing the brand and they know those customer will be with the brand for years to come. When they have quality issues, it sounds like they own up to it and make it right, I've had individuals reach out, with little and big issues, Lamborghini satisfied the ask.

I agree, if you look closely at the pictures, its the center leather strip that they didn't get the alignment correct and the leather is bunching up. The passenger seat is just fine so i'm sure it was just an isolated issue.

I'm kicking myself for not going with the alcantara seat, which are really warm with the hot summers here in AZ but you avoid the common leather issues in the center of the seats.
Being in the upholstery business the problem is they used the belly skin of the of the hide which is thinner and loser than the sides and back. The insert which is the seat bottom and the back you never use the belly skin.

Lamborghini stepping up to make things right? Ive been dealing with a simple cracked plastic on the switch array. after waiting since november 2021, im being told plastic doesn't just crack by itself. My industry is actually plastics and it sure can for a range of reasons not related to the owner. Gold coast Lamborghini in Chicago has not been much help at all to make this right , i purchased the vehicle from them. Another 6 hour trip to try and resolve this today. I will most likely be done with the Lamborghini brand and VAG products after this pathetic experience. Update , Lamborghini replaced it under warranty 3/28/22.

I purchased my new 2022 Huracan EVO RWD Spyder about two weeks ago, didn't even get a chance to drive it as I sent it to my film shop for full Xpel and tint via flat bed trailer. Upon picking up my car today, I noticed the driver seat had a damaged bottom surface and very worn bolsters. After looking back at the photos from the purchase date, the car had defective lower portions of the seat and worn bolsters. I honestly overlooked it as I was so ecstatic about the purchase and the tow truck was waiting while I was signing the paperwork. I'm really disappointed with the leather condition with only 41 miles on the car and for a $280k MSRP, I would have expected more out of Lamborghini's quality team. I'm going to escalate this to Lamborghini NA as I don't understand how the seat passed the Lamborghini outgoing quality control. I'm mostly concerned with the bottom seat surface that looks wrinkled and crusty but the beat up side bolsters do bother me too. I've had many new Porsches that are shipped with the same method and the seats look flawless upon arrival.

Thoughts or am I being too OCD? If others have pictures of their seats, please post them with the miles on your car.

Man that sucks; I feel your pain. We all. Experience some dissatisfaction once in a while. But hey! Not everyone can say: “oh boy! It happened to my Lambo!” Man. We’re a lucky bunch! Enjoy Mr., ‘cause I’m definitely enjoying mine 😊
From a fellow Lambo enthusiast and owner (like we care 😊). Right on Man!

OP, is your leather issue being acceptably addressed by Lamborghini, status?
So far my Lamborghini Brand Manager responded to me on Friday with this response "We should have an answer soon. Lamborghini has been in touch with my service manager over the last couple of days gathering information, and told him that we will have an answer on our next steps shortly. "

I'm trying to be patient but I'm emailing them each Thursday to get updates on it. I asked who can I personally speak to at Lamborghini about the options and the brand manager refuses to give me their info... I don't want them to tell me this is what they're willing to do, I want to have a conversation about it.... let me talk to whoever is calling the shots.

Call me delusional but I was new to Lamborghini and they replaced my EVO without argument or complaint so I have to think that is reflective of a superlative brand and in no way a fluke. My money is on either seat replacement or if possible Leather or Alcantara  cushion replacement. Good luck!...............though don't let the luck happen make it happen if need be. ;)
