Hello all,

I need help deciding which car will be more reliable? Im currently looking at a 2012 aventador vs a 2009 murcielago Lp640 egear. I know the aventador has longer clutch life and less prone to issues vs the e-gear. I not a huge fan of the pre-LP and the LP640 manuals are out of my budget even if I can find one. Why would you pick one over the other? Thank you for any inputs.

I’ve heard 2012 Aventadors are trouble-prone and should be avoided.

Given the choices, aventador. If its been driven and has some miles on it the problems have likely already been addressed imo

Thank you guys. I test drove the AV, the clutch in Corsa packs a great punch and throws me back in the seat lol. Heard a lot of complaints about it, but I loved it. The clutch seems to bite really hard with no delay or loss in power (at least from what I can tell). I will be getting a PPI done this week. Fingers crossed.

Haha. I ended up getting an aventador. Too many issues with the LP egear and its getting harder to find techs that can service them day by day.
