Something that I have been wanting to do for years was refinish my seats.
The previous owner was a larger gent, so the driver's side bolster was a bit worn and also the piping had the "wet noodle" look.
After talking to my local leather upholsterer here in Houston, they were comfortable tackling this job and they only have one guy with the "right" experience. Admittingly, I was a bit nervous leaving the seats, not knowing how they would turn out.
3-days later it was done.
A bit tricky, as the old piping has to be cut out at the leather seams and the new piping has to be stitched in. I elected to go with red piping for the "cool" factor. I also had the bolster re-dyed.
Overall, very pleased with the results.
