I am a 19 year old in college for my doctorate's degree in pharmacy. base starting salary = 120k. I will be 25-27 when i complete my degree. I currently live in my own house with my girlfriend, where the mortgage is 1000 and other costs per month do not exceed another 1000.
If i continued to live in a house like this, --perfectly comfortable 3 bedroom-- that would be at MOST 24k / year to live here. that means i would have around 96k in savings each year. in 6-8 years a aventador shouldnt be worth its base price of 376k anymore.
saving nearly 100k per year ( house would have been long paid off by then) so even more than 100k /year, i could buy a aventador with cash in a few years.
i always planned to have more money in cars than a house, and i know cars are terrible investments but what the hell. if i buy a lamborghini in full, and my house is already paid off, i could buy a much nicer house later on.
im a huge dreamer and gearhead but from what im looking at.. owning a lamborghini by age 28 or 29 should be easy.
its a bit far off, but let me know some of your thoughts - Tom
