Sorry if this is a duplicate but I’m not sure what the technical term is for this piece.

On my 06 the little wing that comes off the roof to the rear is uneven slightly on one side. What could cause this?

Age. It's either warped (which there may be nothing you can do other than replace) or, Maybe at some point over the last 15 years somebody had it off for some reason and never put it back on correctly, a clip is broken or some other attachment issue....or some squirrel trying to hide a nut
