I was thinking about going to one of those racing schools but not sure which one is really worth it. Has anyone here gone to one or heard anything about them.

I have never been to an offical racing school (been to a couple local BMWCCA track days), but have been told that karting schools are the best bang for buck experiences. You learn more about car control in a little kart then is possible in a full size car and you get more seat time at less of a cost. Either way, I think it is a very good investment, as you will have fun and become a better driver. Hope this helps.

I agree with the karting but.... since you're in Jersey, Skip Barber up here at Lime Rock is very professional.
