Problems with your new EVO?

The Huracan EVO is relatively new and I was wondering what problems people have encountered to date and what corrective action the dealerships have successfully or not so successfully provided. People have discussed issues with the infotainment system, paint on the finished product, and recently a member had concerns about squeal from the steering. My hope is that if we catalog the issues and solutions it will be helpful to current and future EVO owners.
The EVO is a great car but, as we all know, perfection does not exist so let us know what issues you have encountered. This thread is intended to make a great car even better.............and, yes, that exhaust note, how sublime.(y)

Maybe the static is there on all cars but i guess the most don’t notice and Al is maybe more attentive
and notices this sound or maybe he has bionic ears..
Attention to detail is not the issue with the static. In fact, if your car has this issue, and you don't notice it, I would have an EEG performed to R/O severe cerebral impairment or flatlining. :ROFLMAO:

So it’s like am radio static i assume when driving under power wires...that would make me use a hammer on the radio.
Well, a video is worth a thousand words.....................This was my 2021 EVO RWD. I have to hit the "Accept" then select a song and hit play and the static stops.

Al that’s sound like its aux sound...i remember when i was in the dj business i would get sound like that until i pressed a source to go through the amplifier.

It was set to USB #1 or the Internal Hard Drive as the source. I tried to have the dealership address it but no solution was found.
Or the sounds like when you are in between fm stereo channels

I even when into the radio and selected a local FM channel to see if that would resolve it at next start up but no dice.

I get it now....interesting .
So when the car goes on doesn’t go directly to the source that was in use when the car was shut off?
Oh, BTW it is louder than it seems on the video. Meaning it is anything but subtle.
I believe you it’s loud....so when you turn off the car you were listening to the hard drive and volume is up..so when you turn off and start again it don’t go automatically to hard drive?

Well, it does now and for the 2022 EVO it goes to USB #1 but remember for each start up the music has to reload so in the interim there is static and that is the same thing with the internal hard drive. One last thing I can try but I shouldn't need to do this is, that is, before I shut the car off place the source to a local FM station that way the loading of the music on either USB #1 or the internal hard drive is avoided.
Anyway if it don’t revert do original position i would say it’s coding of the electronics.
I don’t think it’s mechanical.

It does but it takes time to load the music..........even the internal hard drive has to load (????).
Al basically in the coding they need to speed it up to load faster .
Or maybe the hard drive cheap ...and has slow internals.
About 8 months ago I was told the engineers in Italy are aware of the problem and were able to reproduce it but no solution yet. I guess they work very, very slowly.
They can fix this but probably they have many of these units on the shelve so they won’t fix until
they make a new design.

I don't want to rain on anyones parade but I bet this system will be in the Huracan replacement.
Basically we need somebody to have a system plugged into the can system and to read code
when the stereo system is going through it’s routine....and they can see all the code .
And usually it can be adjusted.
Or i should say they can adjust the functions.
Here goes some reading material if you don’tknow about can systems
I would say it’s the software when they wrote the code. and the sequence how it’s supposed to operate.
